Why digitize important documents? Sure won’t help in an EMP attack...fact is you should have copies in a safe place (not bank safe deposit)...more like with a trusted friend or family member who lives close by. ..in case your home is destroyed.

There’s a red text banner across the top of my screen. “EAS Alert” is scrolling across it. Nothing else. No sound. No message about it being a test. It’s been going on for about an hour or two.
It’s a useless system. All our lives, they’ve been assaulting us with tests of the system. The one time we had an actual nationwide emergency, they didn’t use the Emergency Alert System.
