Check that all your weapons are zeroed in. That fields of fire are planned and cleared. All necessary counter measures are checked and current. Is that what they mean?
There’s a red text banner across the top of my screen. “EAS Alert” is scrolling across it. Nothing else. No sound. No message about it being a test. It’s been going on for about an hour or two.
It’s a useless system. All our lives, they’ve been assaulting us with tests of the system. The one time we had an actual nationwide emergency, they didn’t use the Emergency Alert System.

I can disable all alerts on my smartphone except “Presidential Alerts”. They cannot be disabled in my phone settings.
So when he cancels the election, I’ll definitely hear about it.
