The man's suit joins a series of similar complaints lodged against schools including Swarthmore College and St. Joseph's and Philadelphia Universities.
It comes amid a growing concern among some academics and legal experts that, in trying to become more responsive to reports of sexual violence on their campuses, some universities may have overcorrected to the detriment of students facing the accusations.

It would not bother me a whole lot if every extra marital sexual encounter were legally defined as rape.
These abused young men are about to get millions. This Title 9 crap is bull shit!! SUE SUE , Win win win. Art BRILES FOREVER!!
I said this from day one of the Baylor scandal.
That these people are arm chair quarterbacking AFTER the fact.
But... WHAT IF... the guys had been innocent? ANY retaliation against them would have infringed upon THEIR rights! We are all innocent until proven guilty, you can’t just start kicking people off the team based on accusations alone. The fact is when these guys were finally found guilty.. they hadn’t been at Baylor for years.
Huh?
Whoa. You must have led a life incredibly empty of Saturday nights!
Two things these little college girls need to do. 1, Don’t get naked trying to get inseminated and them get buyers remorse . KEEP YOUR DAMNED KNEES TOGETHER!! an 2, Call the damned POLICE if your vagina in penetrated!! And get a rape Kit exam and testify 2. DON’T CALL THE FRICKEN COACH!!
I was pursued by her attorney (ended up not suing me) but I had apparently failed to have a training program in place that referenced sexual harassment.
Yes I live in California

Even the training program won’t save you from a woman scorned. There was a incident earlier this year in Berkeley with a female reporter carrying on flirtatiously with an assistant coach. She was offended that he hit on her and asked her to go to his apartment. She sued Berkeley after bugging out for a new TV job in Montana. Totally nuked their basketball team days before the NCAA tournament.
If there is an award, I hope that they take it out of the Womyn’s Studies department’s budget.
Is that what they are calling going bat shit crazy these days?
The collages should never have had any jurisdiction in any case. If it is a criminal matter then it is a job for the police and the courts not some academic star chamber.
If you are raped, mugged, assaulted what ever for the love of algore go to the hospital and the actual police not campus rent a cops.
“It comes amid a growing concern among some academics and legal experts that, in trying to become more responsive to reports of sexual violence on their campuses, some universities may have overcorrected to the detriment of students facing the accusations.”
“to the detriment of their financial bottom line.” would be more accurate.
“It would not bother me a whole lot if every extra marital sexual encounter were legally defined as rape.”
Would not the use of “adultery” have been more appropriate than “rape”?
“Is that what they are calling going bat shit crazy these days?”
Yeah, over-corrected the sanity bias setting.
Montana? Was she so unattractive that she wanted to be seen by as few people as possible?
Either way so long as there is a penalty, rape, fornication, adultery.
stick with the men, problem solved....
