People don’t get that this was a terrible hail Mary by the media and dems.

They needed a TKO. They didn’t get it.

The “mod” was too visible.

Hillary didn’t project “warmth”, which was her only mission other than not fainting.

Tons of Hillary negatives were left unexplored. With 2.5 more debates, that is not a good thing to not have had delt with, and done, at the first.

All of the usual “ Trump is a blah blah blah” stuff is out there and done with no real damage. People ultimately dont care about the BC, Iraq War vote, or tax returns.

Trump now knows Hillary’s debate “flow”. Scripted, and cold, with an overreliance on mods.

That leaves Trump with 2.5 debates to hammer her on unexplored negatives, and to shake 1st debate nerves. She still wont be able to generate excitement on the stump from a debate either.

Holt’s display in this debate was too early, and too heavy, and would have been better in #3. Now Trump will be ready for it, and the public will be LOOKING for it to dismiss it.

Planned by Trump or a lucky fluke, Hillary and the press basically just gave Trump the keys to the store out of desperation.

[Planned by Trump or a lucky fluke,]

Leaders are GOD’S instruments, whom He directs to accomplish His purposes. He arranges victory paths for them. He alone decides who rises and falls.

KEEP PRAYING! KEEP CAMPAIGNING!

Nice analysis...

Trump didn’t come off badly, sure we political grognards wanted more, but this was his first time with much room for improvement. Hillary I suspect is at her peak and needs help from the moderator (as if that word describes what Mr. Holt did).

And to be quite honest, winning the first debate only sets the hurdle high for the remaining ones. Much better to save your best ammunition for the final debate.

In a year where people (undecideds) want Change, Hillary didn’t come across as an agent of change.

The election is a marathon and not a sprint.

Hopefully Trump will take both gloves off next time. He let her get away with portraying him as a nasty, sexist at the end of the Debate. He held back on bringing up Predator Bill’s past becasue Chelsea was in the audience. Does he want to be President or be Chelsea’s friend. She’s just as corrupt as her sorry ass parents.

Holt’s display in this debate was too early

He is going to moderate again? Trump should tell him he is fired.

>>> Holt’s display in this debate was too early, and too heavy, and would have been better in #3.

(Not defending Holt, mind you, B U T .....) Holt doesn't have any other choice.

Hillary needed to come out appearing victorious desperately, and the post-debate paid pundits all gave it to her. If HRC seemed to be losing badly, she'll never recover from it, no matter how much ginned up rah-rah-ing from the msm. Too many people and too much at stake for the Dems.

From that point, HRC ‘won’ the first round. She did not receive the fatal KO punch. So we will get new rounds of push polls to show Hillary ahead (2 to 5 points) for another few weeks.

Until some unforeseen event(s)......
