Trump did that all night. Hillary was performing FOR the camera while Trump communicated THROUGH it.

Trump missed so many opportunities, and he showed for lack of articulation. He cannot prosecute an attack, he leaves too much out and is not good on his feet. Granted this is a Democrat Parlor Game with a biased Les Holt but Trump did not paint a picture for America of why he is better through his ideas and vision, and she is merely a corrupt, banal, mendacious, greedy (use Colin Powell’s words), negligent, same-ole, opportunist who has lined her own pockets on selling public office, while watching America’s brave warriors die. She lies to the families of the fallen and to the American people to advance her own political career - and has done that for decades. Trump missed that line of attack.
Trump wasted valuable time on defending charges he didn’t need to defend.
On taxes - they are under audit and my legal advice says no release, sorry, case closed. SO he brings up the 30,000 emails, but fails to prosecute that case. Much went on there, evidence and federal records were destroyed, things were hidden, like correspondence about the CGI. Tell the world what she was hiding. These were lies and deceptions by Hillary Clinton that served to line her pockets and advance her career. She has been doing this for decades. Trump missed it.
Les Holt is a fraud and made sure he wasn’t Matt Lauer. Nothing on the Clinton Fund, did not fact check her, just him. She lied on NY stop and frisk. The Judge’s decision was vacated so it was not unconstitutional. Holt got that wrong. She lied on TPP, and he let it slide.
The Cyber warfare question and Trump doesn’t bring up the emails, and lets Hillary Clinton of all people lecture the world on cyber security. Trump was a fool on this. He should have tattooed her- it was disgrace. Of all the hideous actions she committed, the hiding of the CGI slush fund emails for her own greed and putting the nation’s security at risk were up among the worst! These actions deserved a ton of time and he totally missed it. Les Holt was not bringing it up, - his questions almost looked coordinated for Hillary.
He mentions Libya and fails to mention Benghazi, and she literally watched those men die and refused to send help. Obama left for Vegas on a fund raising trip the night of Sept 11, 2012 - which is also disgraceful. Trump makes no remark. They lied to the families to advance their own political careers, notice the same thing happening, notice the meme.
Trump did mention the Middle East is a mess by their doing, but was scanty on the facts and let Hillary go with her well delivered misrepresentations.
How to fight ISIS. He did hit them on ISIS but he falls into the trap of almost being at fault while they yell at him “what’s your plan”. The answer should be “My plan is to first change leadership in this country, change it from the disasterous, deceptive policies of falsifying intelligence reports that allowed one of the worst crimes of humanity to ever rise on the planet - that Obama and Clinton authorized and fostered the creation of ISIS. They falsified and lied, just as they did in Benghazi, to advance their personal political careers by maintaining false narratives to get re-elected. Enough of lying to people to help yourselves politically and then leaving the mess for others - no more of that, time for the bad managers to leave.
ISIS in American and no mention of immigration. Not enough on terrorists, San Bernardino and the Orlando Dad at Hillary’s rally - and now countless immigrants who want to kill us are posing as refugees. He tried but was not clear, not articulate on the recent error of letting unvetted immigrants to become citizens. Nothing on the government’s overtime rush to make new citizens before election day.
He gets caught up in the Birther Issue and Les Holt was clearly on her side. Here is a message for Trump: Never defend, always attack. Here’s the answer to the race question:
1) Birther is not about race so stop saying that, that’s your judgment and it is not my truth. It was about citizenship. (Trump should scream out) - stop calling me a goddam racist because I am not having it. You did the same to Romney, Bush and McCain and its a damn disgusting practice. It works politically but it is a lie and I reject it.
2)Bill Clinton said to Ted Kennedy “This Kid would have been getting us coffee 3 years ago.” Which is a dirty reference about Obama. SAY IT!
3) Harry Reid said Obama was light skinned which made him acceptable - a most egregious racist charge. Yet no weeping or gnashing of teeth, your selective outrage is hypocritical.
4) Obama’s book agent said he was born overseas, for years, so stop the nonsense like this isn’t a game.
5) Joe Biden said Romney was going to put black people back in chains. The Democrats have maintained this hideous racial divisiveness because it is a lie that serves them politically, and he should apologize for that. It is despicable.
6) THE DNC EMAILS WERE RACIST - Trump mentions them but only mentions Bernie - another missed opportunity. He could have destroyed Hillary on the DNC emails. They are in fact, racist! The Democrats are hypocrites and he missed a fat chance to label them as such.
7) Obama/Clinton have created a monster - a racially divided America, so everything that Obama/Clinton had promised was a lie, and they brought race riots, murdered police and hateful racial division. Bad leadership, with broken promises and a divided America.
Trump sounded like a bill collector on NATO, and wasted too much time which he could have spent attacking her atrocities. Wasted time. Nothing on the Russian reset, nothing on the world being a far more dangerous place.
Got tangled up in women’s issues, and he should have reacted and asked Hillary why she slut shamed Paula Jones, and Juannita Broaddrick, and Kathleen Willey and all the women that Bill assaulted or harassed. And Bill can no longer practice law for lying under oath. And why did her best friend, Sid Blumenthal, call Monica a “stalker”. Hillary is guilty and is an absolute devil and he gave her a pass. Trump stumbled.
Trump didn’t prepare and it showed. It is a parlor game but he was outplayed, and they beat him psychologically which he should understand and never let happen again. They goaded him into long defensive answers that made him look guilty, when he should have attacked. Trump let Les Holt label him a racist, a charge almost impossible to prove the negative, so don’t - attack back. Yet, he didn’t.
He’s got another shot, and this will not likely hurt him that much, but he missed a 100 million person opportunity to crush her, to show the world she is a lying, greedy, inept, untalented, opportunist that destroys everything she touches in her own hubristic way.
I think you have a good point. People join debate teams in HS and college and the ones who do well become lawyers and/or politicians. Everyone’s sick of slick talking lawyerticians.
Trump’s #1 job last night was to not come off as the monster that the MSM has painted him to be. His debating style is what we saw in the primaries but that wasn’t going to work in this debate.
The “big issues” from the debate, as far as MSM is concerned, are non issues for most people. The questions were just regurgitation of the latest MSM talking points that everyone was sick of hearing about already.
Trump’s loan from his father? Who cares. Trump doesn’t pay taxes? It’s well known that he gets audited every year yet he’s never been charged with tax evasion so wtf are they even bringing it up for? Housing discrimination in 1973? (I remember that in the news way back when) Not as big an issue as benghazi which never came up. His position on the Iraq war from how long ago? Who cares.
The take away; Trump’s not a bully monster and the debate was taken directly from recent MSM attacks on Trump and was slanted in clinton’s favor. (and she was reading notes aka answers)
So what you're saying is that if anyone shares an opinion different than yours, they are close minded with a hand up their a$$.. Personal attacks I would expect from a liberal, not you.
