I’m glad Cruz made this statement. As Cruz so clearly articulated, the debate revealed everything about what voters should fear about a Clinton presidency.

Trump took ‘incoming’ from both Clinton and Holt all night and appeared almost defenseless.

But look what Cruz is saying here: Trump delivered his best debate performance yet, by making a strong case for law and order, the 2nd ammendment, the constitution, common sense lowering of tax and regulation, religious freedom, but while allowing’ Clinton to double down on every failed leftist policy under the sun.

Trump has secured his position as the ‘change’ candidate and exposed Clinton as the status quo candidate, so Trump did what he needed to do.

Cruz didn’t miss the significance of the debate - but it appears his die hard supporters missed it completely.

Snarky comments like....

“That’s if the Cruz haters don’t manage to get Hildebeeste elected out of sheer spitefulness.”

And....

“Finally, the voice of reason!”

These comments are amazingly tone deaf: So now Cruz haters are risking Clinton getting elected out of spite? This is the voice of reason?

I’m sorry, but you can’t rewrite history: it is Trump haters, not Cruz haters, who have for months risked getting Clinton elected out of spite.

It appears Cruz finally gets it. It would be nice if his supporters would do the same.

Please, we have just witnessed sore winner after sore winner in this forum excoriating Ted Cruz after he came out in support of Trump and again when he issued a statement in support of Trump's debate performance.

Just who is "snarky?"

It is Cruz who is working on behalf of Trump and it is Cruz supporters who are calling for a cessation of hostilities but the bloodthirsty Cruz haters in this forum simply cannot quit. They continue to defame Cruz and his supporters and then claim that we are causing a lack of unity which in turn might elect Hillary.

Instance after instance of defamation is as nothing to you but "finally, the voice of reason" is snarky. Really?
