Only when my honey is out of town. We all have secret vices.

Works for me...

BTW, now CNBC even shows Trump winning by a wide margin.

That’s just strange.

Scratch that. CNBC now shows Trump winning by a wide margin.

She didn’t win any of the online polls.

We’ll see how it plays out, but I wouldn’t want to be on her team tonight.

“Why am I not up by 75 points?”

HELL YEAH!

Maybe he DID dodge the bullet.

If so, it wasn't by his performance tonight. As I told another poster, I consider it a distinct possibility Trump may have already got a sizable chunk of the electorate committed to his victory.

CNN is saying the wicked witch won by a wide margin. This however is not an open poll where anyone with an internet connection can vote.

Jim’s assessment was just that.

He thinks folks want a change and Hillary can’t do anything about that.

No minds were changed tonight.

Trump could have looked sharper, but I’m not going to rag on him here. He’s our candidate and I’m just not going to go negative on the guy, at all.

We need this victory and if people are showing up here to see what’s going on, I want them to think we think he did excellent.

Let them sweat for a change.

If you’re an Ivy League professor, you’re ecstatic about Hillary.

If you’re Average Joe, you’ll love Trump.

I’m not surprised people are flocking to Trump.

Ivy League professors are a tiny minority in this country.

No wonder Hillary can’t emotionally connect to Middle America.

I thought I went there tonight and tried to find their poll and couldn’t.

There are several polls there (see above the poll results “previuos” and “next” that take you to the various polls).

I think you were looking at the wrong one.

The difference was preparation. She was prepared, and he wasn’t. But you’re 100% correct: This situation can be fixed. The good thing is that the first debate almost never sticks in the minds of those who might be persuaded by debates. If you’re going to come up short in a presidential debate, do it on the first one. Don’t do it on the last one.

I agree with that.

Saw some Lefty nutjob making a comment from a Utah university earlier in the day.

It’s not just the Ivy Leagues any longer. It’s everywhere.

She has no personality. People just aren’t drawn to her.

Bingo. We should also remember that Reagan lost his first debate with Mondale in ‘84. This is not a disaster. But yeah, he needs to step up his game for the next two.

Clinton spoke to divisions in the American fabric, Trump spoke to the Country.

These nattering nabobs of negativism, hanging their heads and sighing make me want to puke.
Trump was on Hillary tonight like Oprah at an all-you-can-eat buffet. They should turn in their ‘nads and join an all girl band.

Hillary will get zero bounce from this. (Sorry to disappoint you)

Totally agree. I will look to see Trump cross the 50% mark in the LA times poll. Trump did great where he needed to.

The difference is I think Trump will learn from this and come back stronger in the next debate.

My observation is that during the primaries many were saying Trump was going to destroy her in the debates. And if he knew the debate was going to be rigged why did he agree to do it?

I hope so because we were told he would be thrashing her in the debates.
