She trounced him. Don’t think I will be able to handle the depression of watching the next one. Clearly Hilary will be president. She is too sly and trump too slow to catch her.

Conservatives can be their own worst enemy.

Liberals don’t trash their own candidate the way FR concern trolls trashed Trump tonight.

With friends like them, Trump doesn’t need enemies.

He repeated the same sound bites over and over instead of facts. She lied her face off like I would believe she would ever use NATO for good.

If it is 44 to 41 on CNN, then Trump succeeded in his prime objective. He just needed to show undecideds he isn’t a insane maniacal racist, and on that score he did great. Hillary is plain boring.

“Your lack of debate prep showed, badly. You have two more debates. This is fixable.”

I hope it is. I too think he was shockingly unprepared and I found it irritating.

No Trump was his own worse enemy tonight. Faired no better than Romney.

I have more faith in a person who is supposed to be a leader as well when they are serious and not a smiling crocodile. Hillary was wearing her dopey smile.

I don’t hire clowns to do serious work, Trump is a professional.

I kind of agree. and I have watched virtually every single Trump speech since last year. I know all of those positions and I’m familiar with his statements intimately. he could have really large salvos at her for Benghazi, the Clinton Foundation , the email debacle , compromising security, the other failure of policy in Libya and Iraq, selling access to the state department and covering up his arms. Aiding and abetting the fraud in denial enabling Barack Obama to a second term. And more recently corrupting and subverting the FBI and the Department of Justice and lying to Congress. All of these things mr. Trump could have used

i agree about the missed opportunities. he could have easily brought up bill and the women he assaulted when she made a remark about him and women. also, on the how to stop cyberwars i think he should have said something like “well, first i wouldn’t keep classified information on an unencrypted private server so our adversaries can easily get it”.
he missed the openings there and was battling 2 on 1.

Hill won. Sad to say, She didn’t fall apart. She will go up in the polls now. She may have just won the election in that “Debate” She had Lester Holt’s help—To cut off Trump and “Fact Check” him. I hope he was paid a great deal—maybe a job in a Clinton White House?

Hillary was like a cold, canned robot.

She came across as plastic, detached and clinical.

If there was human warmth or empathy, I missed it.

Trump showed passion, feeling and authenticity.

I’ll take human Trump over Cyborg Hillary any day.

If the RNC can’t remain truthful in their obligations, why would anybody think the Democrats would even pretend to remain honorable in their obligations.

(They can’t even pass a budget.)

Actually, what most have overlooked was the last question responses of the debate, which were the most important “Will you accept the outcome of the election”?

Note carefully the Clinton response. Fasten your seatbelts for another Gore contested election, no matter how wide the margin is for Trump.

If Trump was right about stamina, did she need to give him a knockout punch in this debate? Did she succeed?
