The Constitution ends at the border of the public schoolyard. And this act of petty tyranny is reason #1,294,763 why my kids will never go to a public school.

Sounds like the higher ups acted reasonably in this case. They got the facts, sent a plumber to fix the problem and they will make sure the suspension is taken off her record.

How many weeks before a self-declared transgendered student is called into the principal’s office for taking “pictures” in the girl’s restroom?

Public education probably began as a noble idea, but morphed into an abominable waste of time, money and resources. Not unlike our founding fathers establishing three branches of government.

Do a simple internet search on "Ye old deluder Satan act" and you will see the first public education law was written to teach people to read the Bible.

this is a case of an idiot school administrator that does not want to make judgment calls....the way to of handle this was to take care of the problem and just give a verbal warning about cameras in the bathroom. suspension is a serious thing especially for any child that is struggling in school.
I was a special ed student and struggled to even graduate when I was a student. missing three days of instruction was enough to sabotage my grades majorly when I was going to school. I look at suspensions as something that should be done for will full disobedience in school. this was not that this was man this is gross I will put it on social media.

Yeah, the school did fix things, but the suspension was an overreaction in my book. They could have used common sense instead.

Every little thing doesn’t need to be photographed with a cell phone and posted to the internet. A water/plumbing problem should be reported directly to responsible school officials, not posted on the internet.
Students need to develop a little common sense to go with their smart phones. Maybe a suspension was too much on the school’s part, but the girl was trying to bring public attention to a very minor problem.

Common sense is an uncommon attribute of many public education administrators today.

While they were at it, they should have tested the water.

Resonably would also include removing the idiots who suspended the kid. Those people were trying to cover up a health hazard instead of dealing with it.

Yeah, that whole colored thing is non-PC. I’m surprised that kids are allowed to have anything but black “lead” pencils/crayons.
