Chicago Bears last night drew in 18.62 million viewers, scoring a 6.8/21 rating in the 18-49 demographic, the group most coveted by advertisers.
That marks a fall from last weeks 7.4 rating in the 18-49 demo. Last nights game also scored a 12.9/21 in Nielsens metered-market rating, a decline from last weeks 13.7/23.

This is the first Dallas game that saw a drop. From the last two weeks:
Lots of red from the last two weeks except Dallas; last night Dallas dropped from 7.4 to 6.8. Could be the boycott is spreading ...
Lousy game, the Bears haven’t showed up all season.
Even the players are boycotting ??? LOL !!!
Forbes?

They missed a good show - rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott were en fuego.
Or it was a crappy game.
Yeah Forbes - but the Week 1/2 chart comes from sportsmediawatch.com - they haven’t posted week 3 yet.
The Boycott isn't going to affect any NFL team
Why ?
The team already has the fan's money in pre-season sales; if you leave the stadium, somone else will take your place ! (no effect)
Where the money is in NFL teams is television rights; it's where the teams really make their multi-million dollar$ money.
Complain to the network sponsors; threaten to boycott their products; call the sponsor and write them !- now you affect their money streams"!!
The teams could care less about the individual fans, ..but threaten their "money streams", and they will respond.
The network sponsors is where the NFL money comes from.
I’m off NFL until THEY change.
I would never watch a group of men hugging and rolling around on the ground anyway
There's about 31 GM's scratching their heads, asking themselves, "how could we have been so wrong on Dak?"
And the Cowboys tried a myriad of deals to get a QB in the second round. I'd rather be lucky than good.
Was it me, or were there thousands of empty seats in Cincinnati yesterday?
I am more interested in the upcoming arrival of the yellow rumped warblers in my area. They should be here in about 3 weeks.
Can’t imagine why...
“There’s about 31 GM’s scratching their heads, asking themselves, “how could we have been so wrong on Dak?”
Don’t blame them. Ole Miss is the QB school. Dak is the first outstanding, NFL-quality QB to come out of my school in living memory. But why did he have to be chosen by “America’s Team”?
I feel so cheap and unclean cheering for Dak knowing he’s wearing the Cowboy’s uniform...
Half of the game was good....the half when Dallas had the ball.
I wonder how the game did in Chicago and Dallas ?
If it drew crummy in the games cities, then the NFL is in more trouble than it thinks.
Those are TV ratings - what I'm saying is, don't watch and advertisers will want to renegotiate terms.
Also, I read somewhere the TV revenues really affect players and not owners. The TV revenues go 100% to player salaries - or so I've heard.
It was a crappy game before it even started. Literally half of the Bear’s starters are injured. I had better things to watch, like “Designated Survivor.”
The biggest sponsors seem to be (just by my observations) viagra, cialis, Anheiser Busch, and Dodge / Ford / Chevy trucks. I think the ones most likely to fear a "middle america" backlash would be the truck makers, as people who buy those trucks generally don't live in Manhattan or San Francisco.
So a campaign telling those companies that they are on the "no buy" list as long as they support the NFL while these anti-american protests are going on might get some attention.
