Jeb Bush in 2020, anyone?
Sources close to Jeb Bush’s failed run at the 2016 presidency say the “low-energy” candidate has been back in touch with supporters. They believe he’s popping up to “feel them out” for another run and, according to at least one big contributor, they're in!
“Bush has been quietly making telephone calls to his supporters, bundlers and donors, to talk about the state of the county and the economy, and the energy business, why would he do that?” asks one insider, who concludes “he's running in four years.”
Before he was trounced by Donald Trump, Bush raised $160 million (when adding in super PAC money), for a GOP primary run that fell flat when the bombastic Trump labeled him a “low-energy” candidate.

100% of the forum here, new he was a loser from the beginning. Many here were for Cruz, Walker, Perry, Rubio even, but NONE of us here were backing this boob.
I’m still a republican, but I don’t think I identify with these people backing Bush.

She knew her sons’ limitations, and wanted to spare him the embarrassment she knew would be coming
The most telling moment (for me) was when they had a winter assemblage of some sorts and Jeb walked ahead of the pack while someone else helped his mother through the snow.
A similar telling moment for me was when Dr. Carson had a moment of confusion during the announcement of the candidates and everyone walked past him (Cruz with a smirk) while Trump stayed with him to sort it all out, rather than leave him embarrassed alone.
I was a Cruz supporter (mostly) at first. Trump was rising in my view, but that started to settle it in his favor.
That plus the fact he was NOT giving pablum answers to inane journalist questions.
This is really all you need to see how the gatekeepers of GOP are wildly out of touch.
They still don’t (or won’t) see how the Bush-Dole-Bush-Bush-McCain-Romney model got us nowhere worth getting to. they think the model can be tweaked, repackaged, and resold.
They’re very wrong.

jeb chose to disqualify himself by supporting amnesty for illegal aliens ( “slow-walked” amnesty is still amnesty and just as much a magnate for more throngs of lawless illegals as outright instant amnesty).
He is finished, politically, and there is no (NO) return pathway.
