Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence said Sunday that Gennifer Flowers will not attend the first presidential debate and that Donald Trump floated the idea to mock Clinton campaign efforts to district voters by playing games with front row seats.
The uproar about inviting Flowers, the woman with whom Clinton's husband, former President Bill Clinton, had a sexual encounter, started last week.
Dallas Mavericks owner and outspoken Trump critic Mark Cuban on Thursday tweeted: "Just got a front row seat to watch @HillaryClinton overwhelm @realDonaldTrump.
A Clinton aide later told CNN that the Democratic presidential nominees campaign had indeed invited Cuban, which prompted Trump to tweet Saturday that he had invited Flowers to the debate Monday night at Hofstra University, in Long Island, N.Y.
Gennifer Flowers will not be there, Pence, the governor of Indiana, told Fox News Sunday. The tweet was actually mocking effort by Hillary Clinton and her campaign to distract voters.

I agree. Gennifer Flowers was a volunteer. Juanita Broderick was not.
She is. She isn’t. She is. She isn’t.
Make up your minds.
You’re right. The media would be brutal! All of Trumps’ hard won momentum would be gone. We love the idea but we can’t underestimate the power of the media to take down Trump. Hillary would get the sympathy and vote of every woman who has ever been cheated on.
If he shows up, the Clinton team will just look childish.
I think they are baiting Trump. Just the thing he has been warned to not fall for.
It would really be hilarious (pun intended) if Cuban makes some sort of scene or outburst. He’s been fined and suspended by the NBA for yelling at the refs at Maverick games.

Big mistake.
And, he should have Kathleen Willey also.
Now that I would love to see!
If I recall correctly, this was never proven. Besides, Bill is not running for election. I still think this is a distraction and has value in swaying voters that have not already decided on their choice. Worse, I think it will discredit other arguments and be counterproductive. Speaking for myself (and what I’ve heard in conversation) is that all of this results in “Oh S61t, not this again.”
Thank you very much! How dirty to call Mr. Trump a rapist without providing evidence to their claim. GO, TRUMP, GO!
Well put!!
