Hahaha. Yup.

You know, to me it seemed that Trump was agitated when he first walked out. His mouth was tense. He usually takes a couple of hits before he gets short on temper - but tonight it seemed he came out of the gate that way. I am betting he had something dropped on him moments before the event began.

It would be great if Trump referred to this debate from here on out as “My debate with Lester Holt.”

The height of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expect the results to change. Hillary is a prime example of continuing to do the same thing. The country does not want that, which is why Trump will win.

I think you are used to the usual debates, between two insiders.

TRUMP is an outsider and great on his feet, and people long for his more authentic style and passion for reconstructing our collapsing country.

He should have said “yeah it was one little off hand comment I made but you voted for the damn thing Hillary! There’s your judgement”

Thank you for that info, Sarah (about Luntz saying DT won the independents tonight). Did he give any details on why?

As I have posted several times, that was early in the debate.

Trump didn't do so well after that.

Cruz STINKS at debates. I could have beaten him, easily, in a debate, when I was in high school. ;^)

Listen to me, Trump needs coaching by everyone who is still alive, who helped Reagan, who also stunk at his first debate.

I think he played a little too nice with her.

But he’s a gentleman, and that was probably the right thing to do.

This time.

Next debate... not so much.

Falcons 45 Saints 32, 7 minutes left...excuse this break in, I’ll let everything soak in and turn off the debate coverage.

What makes me nervous is that he appeared to have not really prepared. He seemed to be just shooting from the hip, and not in the good way. There were real zingers he could have memorized for specific issues. He should have expected certain questions and had those one liners.

I completely agree.

He was trying to hold one of his rallies, not debate.

I hope his people let him know how bad he screwed up.

Krauthammer just summed the whole thing up beautifully. I totally agree with his debate assessment. A draw usually goes to the challenger which is Trump.

“Trump was in TROUBLE most of the night; sadly. Hopefully he can pull a REAGAN at the next one. “

If that is what you think then you missed the entire point of his presence. It wasn’t to go punching bag on Hitlery as you demand and make a mockery of himself as a “reality TV” clown, but to give the people a view of a Presidential candidate, and he did that very well.

He emphasized that she is politics as usual...

Didn't watch but if he did this then it is a significant point. I always mention it when asked which way I'm leaning. Hillary is the past, the business-as-usual inside-the-beltway insider and dirty dealing politician.

If Trump didn't KO her then I would not be worried too much. In this kind of contest you don't want to shoot your wad and leave nothing for the next rounds. Trump does need to get more TV messages out. Hillary is killing us with those in my area. I know Trump can out-energize Hillary on the campaign trail and draw big, enthusiastic rallies, but she will reach x100 more with a well-planned series of TV ads. That will make a big difference to the LIVs who are not inclined to venture beyond their TV screen and kitchen tables to write out an absentee ballot.

Yes but we’re those friends expecting to see Trump as,a politician or human being? Luntz has him winning Independents and most online polls have him winning, one has him tied.
