The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.
Congratulations to the real winner tonight: Lester Holt. He's going to be the toast of the town. He and his family will be set for life. Made man.

I agree with your assessment, goldstategop. A draw. No major knockout on either side. Trump stood up for himself when necessary.
If I were to advise Trump, it would consist of the following:
1) Complete your sentences. You are giving the audience too much credit for figuring out what you mean when you shoot off two or three words.
2) Stop repeating the same point 5 or 6 times. You are wasting time.
3) Speak less to broad concepts and more to the common man.
4) Affability matters. Reagan won on affability. Smile a little more, but not with that forced weird smile Hillary plastered on most of the debatte.
On the whole I give Hillary high marks, an A-, and Trump a B or so. Stylistically Hillary did very well, content Trump nailed it a few times.
He needs to take a reality check and prepare more. Obama had a HORRIBLE first debate and came back strong. Trump wasn’t horrible, but he needs to come back strong. I know he can do it.
Don’t be stupid. Nobody here is running for president. We want and need Trump to be on his game. We are supporting him and he has to close the deal.

The candidates did nearly all of the talking, but the direction was set by Holt, always tilted against Trump. Horrid.
Let’s hope Trump learns to attack her more. Discredit her and her dishonesty in the first statement.
Excellent! I was thinking the obvious bias, and unfair handling by the moderator, would be noticed. Appears it was. Most people, on some level, appreciate fairness.
Want the “blue screen” where she looked crazy and was incredulous that she wasn’t fifty points ahead?
I don't know why people say sh!t like that on these threads. That has never, ever happened in a presidential debate in my lifetime.

Holt sucked... but it was expected.
She has no policies and no plan, but she didn’t topple over. That’s a massive win and that was expected by the MSM and LIVs. Trump needs to find a way to get his message out — these debates won’t permit it, with these “moderators “........

She came across to me as disingenuous, arrogant, and snotty.
I’ll give him the edge because he was completely correct when he said “you’ve had thirty years to get it right”. I think it was the scoring shot.
That is the take way from this. If you and your crew couldn’t get it right in 30 years, what makes you think four more years will be the magic number?

I can never watch Fox News. It is liberal tabloid trash. Fox Biz is better. Watchable for the most part.
Trump speaks FOR the people, i see that over and over and over.
Hillary runs OVER the people. Could care less for them unless they have a donation check for her, a BIG one.
Let the shallow souled weak minded undecideds vote for her, i wouldn’t jump start their truck in the middle of nowhere.
That was early in the debate.
Trump took a slight hit on his tax returns. But, he got destroyed by the birther ambush.
Trump should have been better prepared for that, and ready to lay it back on Clinton's surrogates.
