The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

I had intended to watch this thing on OAN, comfortably on the sofa. But I got wrapped up in this thread, and basically only HEARD the debate, without watching.
Trump came across as making real points, and sounded sincere and impassioned. Hillary sounded like a college debater reading from index cards, when she wasn’t parroting memorized platitudes.
Trump was Trump. He was exactly the person who energized us and got us to put him where he is now. I’m not dissatisfied - and there are more debates.

I saw this debate as a draw, which is good enough because Trump only had to show he is capable of being President. I expect little change in the race.

The part that irritated me was when Holt asked Trump about Trump questioning Hillary’s stamina, then Holt tried to interrupt him (again) as Trump answered. Then Trump had to say, “You asked the question, let me answer it.”
Trump’s people need to address the way the debates are conducted. Trump won, but he had to fight both Shrillary and the moderator. Stevie Wonder saw this coming.
Oh, and all you Clinton fans—former fans of one of the sixteen clowns Trump destroyed—posing as Trump supporters so you are’t bounced: you can back go to DU or your nevertrumper site now and join your comrades.

Drudge poll mean nothing, the site is frequently primarily by people who hate the Clintons, as I do.
It was a disaster for Trump.
Now the rigged polls will indicate a big swing back to her. The whole idea was to show Trump catching up to her before the debate, so they can create the “big swing” for her.
Ya’ll better get down on your knees every night and pray for some sort of major medical incident, because that’s the only way this hack stays out of the WH.
As you know, people only remember how you made the feel, not what you said. He body language was smug and her laughing through it all was disingenuous. Trump, I think, will be remembered as genuine and concerned. Hitlery will be remembered as “that smug bitch”.
