Moderator for the debate is Lester Holt, the anchor of the NBC Nightly News

The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

Holt didn't allow Trump to rebut Clinton directly - she said he only wanted to reduce taxes on the wealthy, that is false. Holt, instead, injected his own question. Trump takes Holt's question - he is responsive to the question, have to hand it to him for that.

Holt tries to interrupt when Trump brings up NAFTA and other things the current political class has done.

Holt's question is how do you bring the jobs back - Trump says discourage leaving, tarrif. He should mention reducing regulatory burden.
