CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Reuters) - A gun recovered at the scene of the fatal shooting of a black man by police in Charlotte, North Carolina, was loaded and had fingerprints matching those of the victim, CNN reported on Friday as the man's family released its own video of the encounter.

The family of shooting victim Keith Scott, whose death has sparked three days of protests, continued to urge officials to release their own recordings of the slaying.

The moment when a black police officer shoots Scott, a 43-year-old father of seven, cannot be seen in the two-minute video recorded by his wife, Rakeyia, who can be heard urging officers not to fire.

If some policeman tells you to do something...DO It! Some American Negro's are among the most racist people in the country. Some seem to think, like Hillary Clinton, they're above the law.

This man had seven children, how was he supporting them and their Mother(s)?

Not just Hillary thinks they are above the law:

Black men who try to avoid an encounter with Boston police by fleeing may have a legitimate reason to do so — and should not be deemed suspicious — according to a ruling by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

Citing Boston police data and a 2014 report by the ACLU of Massachusetts that found blacks were disproportionately stopped by the city’s police, the state’s highest court on Tuesday threw out the gun conviction of Jimmy Warren.

Warren was arrested on Dec. 18, 2011, by police who were investigating a break-in in Roxbury. Police had been given a description of the suspects as three black men — one wearing a “red hoodie,” one wearing a “black hoodie” and the other wearing “dark clothing.” An officer later spotted Warren and another man (both wearing dark clothing) walking near a park. When the officer approached the men, they ran. Warren was later arrested and searched. No contraband was found on him, but police recovered an unlicensed .22 caliber firearm in a nearby yard. Warren was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and later convicted.

In its ruling, the court made two major findings: The justices said police didn’t have the right to stop Warren in the first place, and the fact that he ran away shouldn’t be used against him.

On the first point, the court said the description of the break-in suspects’ clothing was “vague,” making it impossible for police to “reasonably and rationally” target Warren or any other black man wearing dark clothing as a suspect. The court said the “ubiquitous” clothing description and the officer’s “hunch” wasn’t enough to justify the stop.

“Lacking any information about facial features, hairstyles, skin tone, height, weight, or other physical characteristics, the victim’s description ‘contribute[d] nothing to the officers’ ability to distinguish the defendant from any other black male’ wearing dark clothes and a ‘hoodie’ in Roxbury.”

Can anyone tell me WHY the man was intercepted by the police to begin with? I have heard everything that happened AFTERWARD but if he was parked, sitting in his vehicle - what on earth caused the attention or action of the police? He apparently was parked near his home for the wife to be there with her phone?

It appeared on the news tonight that after her husband was shot by police, she called the POLICE? Well, I don’t know what else she could have done at that point but that sure seemed odd..

These reports of a gun with fingerprints and DNA have not been officially confirmed.

Police were serving a warrant on him.
He had a record amounting to “armed and dangerous”.

As is common, the sound bite characterization doesn’t even come close to telling the story.

Many, many unanswered questions about this shooting.
A “drop gun” hasn’t been ruled out...

Since the inception of Black Lives Matter, who IMO is a racist organization, their sole purpose is to target our police officers and ratchet up a race war with a bunch of thugs following their lead, all they have accomplished is sparking riots in Ferguson, Baltimore, Dallas, and now Charlotte..as any have no observed and watched.....

Then we have a president who endorses this racist group which gave them legitimacy, and now, as a nation, we find ourselves being held hostage yet again by these thugs.

I have my own opinion of how this started ....it was with his daughter whose hour-long, live-streamed, Facebook rant immediately following the police shooting, after he brandished a gun and refused to listen to multiple commands to drop the weapon, she incited riots that never should have happened...and is in part responsible for the death of one of the protesters by her actions.

She referred to her beloved father as "my mother-f**king daddy"... accusing the police officers of being "white racist pigs"...who gunned down her father while he was just reading "a mother-fu**king book" because he was a black man....she didn't care to note that the man who shot her father was a " black' Officer.

Then the call of course went out to the BLM thugs who wasted no time converging into Charlotte for two nights of destruction and mayham, looting and violence, leaving one left in critical condition after a thug shot him in the head...who later died...and destruction in it's wake..yet again....

Evidence has shown multiple photos of the scene, clearly showing a gun by Scott’s head as well as photos that clearly show that 'Scott was also wearing an ankle holster'.....the family initialy said the gun was a plant....now saying that even if it wasn't the police didn't need to kill him.....

What happens from here on in will be alot of people looking for "revenue jackpots"..from the mayors office to the Attorneys and family members....with many along the way skimming their share off the top.

Why was the woman yelling, “Keith, don’t do it..” “Keith, don’t do it.” “Keith, don’t do it.”
Looks like Keith might have done it.

Good post. I have heard/read opinions of several American blacks who recognized how fortunate they were to have been brought to this country. Slavery was evil and it should never have happened but Africa is a hell hole. Maybe a trip to Nigeria would change their minds about living in America.

Wolf Blitzer will need intense counseling to get over this.

..”Why was the woman yelling, “Keith, don’t do it..” “Keith, don’t do it.” “Keith, don’t do it.””....

She didn’t see until she got there.....watch her movements...but the officer who zoomed up there saw immediately.

Clearly the wife wanted to take control of the situation....when in fact she was immediately in denial he had a gun....likely has been accustomed somewhat to situations as this when you consider his criminal background. So she was just trying to control whatever narrative she wanted to play out.

I mean my gosh even after he got shot she wasn’t interested in seeing if her husband was ok...If I had a husband I’d be by his side in a heartbeat.

Keith has done it in the past - he shot at a cop in 2004.
