DONALD TRUMP EITHER LIED TO THE REPUBLICANS OR BROKE THE LAW (EXCLUSIVE)
Newsweak ^ | 09/23/16 | KURT EICHENWALD

Donald Trump committed perjury. Or he looked into the faces of the Republican faithful and knowingly lied. There is no third option.

It has become an accepted reality of this presidential campaign that Trump spins a near-endless series of falsehoods. For months, the media has struggled with this unprecedented situation—a candidate who, unlike other politicians who stretch the truth, simply creates his own reality. Trumps regularly peddles “facts” that aren’t true, describes events that never happened or denies engaging in actions that everyone saw him do. He utters his falsehoods so fast that before reporters have the chance to correct one, he has tossed out five or six more.

This time, it is different. Trump can’t skip past his perfidy here. There are two records—one, a previously undisclosed deposition of the Republican nominee testifying under oath, and the second a transcript/video of a Republican presidential debate. In them, Trump tells contradictory versions of the same story with the clashing accounts tailored to provide what he wanted people to believe when he was speaking.

(yawn)

Does it rise to the level of murder of colleagues who know too much, treason with China, Iran, etc., lying under oath, racketeering, cattle futures fraud, or all the other crimes the Clintons have forced down our throats?

Get back with me if it does. AFTER the election.

Reading this...it’s like, WAIT!! The writer made the mistake of putting in the wrong name, just replace Trump with Hillary and it all makes sense!

I mean seriously? Hillary committed ACTUAL perjury. She’s a pathological liar on everything and they manage to say it’s Trump. lolz.

Yeah, never mind Hillary’s ongoing pay for play shenanigans and her sieve-like ability to manage sensitive communications...

Calling Trump a liar during this particular election cycle is laughable. As long as Hillary’s around, it’s absurd to talk about anyone else’s lying.

Exactly, projection, since everything of which they accuse Trump, Hillary is guilty of, and more (lying through her teeth to Congress, just for one). And what of the former GOP candidates who promised to support whomever the eventual Republican candidate might be, back when they laughed up their sleeves at the mere thought that it would end up being Trump? They were liars too.

I don’t see where the lie is, either in the debate or the testimony.

Trump was interested in possible casino gambling in Florida. But the guy he hired to look into it, Fields, quits and thereby screws up the effort. So Trump decides not to pursue it any further.

That’s consistent with the debate and the testimony.

So the main stream news media would also be guilty of perjury? Heck they commit perjury on a minute to minute basis.

So let me get this straight Mr Journ-O-list....we find out Cheryl Mills ( who is a lawyer) was granted immunity from prosecution in Hillary Clintons email server story...but because Donald might have changed positions as a politician and turn that into a “criminal act” NOBODY died when Trump did what he did. FOUR honorable men did when Hillary did what she did...so mr journ-o-list sit down an eat your gruel and wait for Satan to show up to take the highway to hell...
