Ted Cruz endorsement of Donald Trump forthcoming: Report (WT)
Washington Times ^ | Sept. 23, 2016 | WT Editorial Staff

It seems like Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has determined where his conscience is leading him, and it’s toward Donald Trump.

The endorsement could come as early as Monday, unnamed sources, close to Mr. Trump’s campaign, told Lifezette. “Those sources noted that Cruz has become seriously concerned about the long-term threats to the Constitution and conservative priorities, should Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton win the White House,” the online political site, founded by conservative pundit Laura Ingraham, reported.

I was shocked to see Bill Kristol getting weak in the knees also. Reality is settling in, some people are just slow to accept it.

You are right..It`s all about the Benjamin’s in THEIR pockets that really worries them.....All those Trumpers, all those votes and contributions lost forever.....Radio empires with Beck and Levin down the toilet....Although ,Becks fall started before Trump came on the primary scene

It might make a difference in the chances for Herself. At least Ted Cruz has moved away from the ranks of “Never Trump”, maybe a little late in the game, but still more swiftly concluded than Jeb Bush.

All the Republican contenders signed the pledge to “support the eventual nominee”, you know. Now if only we could get William Kristol to relent....

“You may be correct, but I hope that he sees what damage Hillary can do in just four years. I used to be a Cruz supporter but he lost me before he dropped out. Now I still don’t trust his motives completely.”

That describes me to a “T.”

He’ll have to REALLY work for my vote in 2018. I wouldn’t have to have my arm twisted much to support someone else (non-RINO) in the primaries. Though, unlike Cruz, if he won his primary then I’d be behind him to win in 11/18 from the first moment that his opponent quit the race.

He blew his chance at the SCOTUS by his behavior and not bowing out in March or so IMHO. Stay in the Senate? IMHO he might be done their too. Too much ick, the Canada thing, his wife's resume, and his support of TTP, doesn't match his so called vaulted resume. Better than Ayotte, Collins, McCain, and Graham? Maybe, I feel like Diogenes looking for one good man and we thought it was Ted...

Trump put his buddy Mike Lee on the Supreme Court list. Trump is reaching out with that move and picking Pence. Ted will come through. Not sure about Kasich. All Trump said about him was he ate like an animal. Is that an insult?

I regularly associate with about 40 people, 15 of which were not Trump supporters. In the last month every single one of them has told me they are voting Trump.

My Father in law, a lifetime Union Democrat is voting Trump. I was shocked when he told me.

That’s great, the thought of Hillary in power is horrifying. Maybe I should clarify my remarks. IMO, most of the never-Trumpers are not going to be moved by Cruz’s endorsement, he was never “their guy” to begin with.

Yeah, I saw that about Kristol. Never Trump has all been a troll. I’m more sure of it than ever. Trump will be on the cover of National Review a week before the election and they will “endorse” him. Book it.

Cruz just nuked the conservative wing of “never Trump” with his “NeverHillary” statement. Bet they feel used. LOL.

Apparently there was a single shot in Levin’s bunker this morning???

Levin endorsed Trump about three weeks ago.
