Five paths to victory for Trump.
If Trump wins Virginia, then he almost surely isn't going to lose Florida or North Carolina (both of which are noticeably to Virginia's right), almost surely isn't going to lose populist Iowa (where polls suggest he is faring about 5 points better than he is nationally), and isn't likely to lose Ohio (which is a bit to the right of Virginia and shows him polling better). The combination of these states would give him 272 electoral votes.
During the week of September 4-10, Trump smartly spent $2.2 million in Virginiadouble what he spent in any other stateaccording to AP. Clinton, meanwhile, spent $0, choosing instead to waste money in Arizona and Georgia, where she isn't going to win and doesn't need to win...
If Trump wins his must-win states, plus Michigan and Iowa, he would have 275 electoral votes...

Look at the No Toss up” map on RCP and flip CO to Trump. Gets him to 274. Give Clinton all of Maine and the other DC in NE and Trump still gets 272

I really think the simplest path is the Romney states, plus FL, OH, IA, and VA. Virginia will be the closest. I live here in Virginia, and while it has become more blue over the past ten years, it is winnable. Polls in Virginia have been very off the last few election cycles. I remember when everyone had Warner winning by a landslide for governor, and Cuccinelli almost won.
how many people just have basic tv and no internet
Possibly a portion of Pennsylvania because WV is solidly in the Trump column.
Would LOVE to get VA... but haven’t seen many polls that are competitive... before yesterday, the last few polls in CO had Trunp ahead or even there
Agreed... also ads in South Jersey to reach PA
Polls are very difficult to do in Virginia. Look at the last Senate election. All polls showed Warner winning comfortably, by 5-8 points. Gillespie lost by less than 1%.
In hindsight, as much as I despise McCauliff, I don’t feel bad for Cuccinelli... he’s one of the leading anti-Trump vermin
Exactly
Other than Philadelphia which is a given, why would she advertise in SJ?
I only watch a couple of hours of TV a week. I just hit the mute button during commercials and surf the web.
Last poll we saw, from 2 weeks ago, showed a 4 point gap in NJ

The best ad for Trump came from Hillary herself and her “Basket of Deplorables” comment.
“Hillary is running ads in Maryland ... MARYLAND !!!”
She is up by 24% in Maryland. She is probably running ads there because they reach the Virginia markets.
