Britain should apologize for its 1917 declaration endorsing the founding of a Jewish homeland in Palestine, and should recognize Palestine as a state, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas told the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday. Abbas said that the Palestinian people had suffered greatly because of the Balfour Declaration, in which Britain said it favoured the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people in Palestine but that this should not undermine the rights of others living there. We ask Great Britain, as we approach 100 years since this infamous declaration, to draw the necessary lessons and to bear its historic,

Shoulda, woulda, coulda, B.S.
When was 'Palestine ever a state/country' recognized as such?
In contrast, I seem to remember a land for Jews being 'declared' much earlier than 1917....
Back in the 80s the SPLC were filing suits against people and groups making statements like this. My how times have changed, nowadays there are multitudes of officials, msm, opposing religious groups etc... that declare this and worse and nary a peep from the SPLC. What gives?
Yeah, good luck with that... oh wait, given what passes as leadership today, Abbas might have his apology by lunch.
A large salvo of artillery should suffice.
Create a homeland for the Jewish People: check
Annoy that tosser Abbas: check
100 years well-spent
Somebody should use a baseball bat on this creep already. Or a cricket bat.
...because the entire Middle East belongs to the Arabs plus any other territory they can get their hands on.
The Jews just get this little sliver of land and the Arabs don’t like it. I suppose it’s an affront to their notion of racial superiority.
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Psalm 2
“The Jews just get this little sliver of land and the Arabs dont like it. I suppose its an affront to their notion of racial superiority.”
It reminds me of Senator Time Harkin from a bunch of years ago, wanting to take Limbaugh off of Armed Forces Radio. Limbaugh had one show once a week and Harkin was saying it was too much and Rush needed to be removed.
Or, 93% of the media is liberal and they want Fox News off the air.
The Brits Shoulda given the whole thing to the Jews and run the Arabs in to the desert.
Imagine an Israel that included Jordan, Lebanon and the rest of the old mandate...
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.
..................
The British Mandate did, then Jordan was taken away in 1923
Bibi knows better than to ask for a British apology for the Struma.
