While I hope he does it and soon, at this point does his endorsement really help Trump out in November?

I can't imagine it would help Trump much at this point, any boost is a benefit. I was initially a Cruz supporter, but even if he endorses Trump now, I'll never vote for him in a primary should he run again. Cruz was a self-centered, lying cry baby to not endorse Trump at the Convention. Nothing about the reasons he's given for not endorsing Trump has changed. So why might he possibly be endorsing Trump now? To hook his wagon to a winner? Because he actually thinks the RNC will not give him support for future runs? If either of those are the reasons, he's still self-centered. It may be that he has actually reached the conclusion that we need to defeat Hillary, but I'm so cynical about his motives that I don't believe it.

Anybody can grow, even self centered cry babies.

If growing is happening, it is riding on a spiritual tide. I long suspected that Ted needed to turn loose of the dominionism. God hasn’t handed Christians the whole world on a silver platter, and that sounds like a good thing to me not just because God chooses it, but also because Christians wouldn’t be in any position, the way they are today, to do the right thing with the world if they did get it on a silver platter. Working on the salt and light thing in-house is quite enough challenge for now.

Let’s be prepared to bury a lot of hatchets this season, and no, that doesn’t mean in our past opponents’ backs. That would be the way of, well, self centered cry babies. We should grow, no?
