A Republican-led House committee voted on Thursday to hold in contempt of Congress a former State Department employee who helped set up Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's private email server. The employee's lawyer accused the panel of a "naked political agenda."

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee approved the contempt resolution on a 19-15 party-line vote. The resolution states that Bryan Pagliano, the computer specialist tasked with establishing Clinton's server while she was secretary of state, did not comply with two subpoenas ordering him to appear before the panel.

Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland, the panel's senior Democrat, bemoaned the spectacle, calling it "a blatantly partisan Republican attack on the Democratic candidate for president

How many self-inflicted gunshot wounds to the back of the head will he be found with?

Or will it be "Accidental Death by Bar bell?"

He’d better head for the high mountains and get a disguise going. His life isn’t worth a Park Bench in Fort Marcy Park right now.

Hopefully this contempt charge will negate any amnesty agreement given by the FBI. I hope this guy stays in jail a long time.

If the Democrats were in control it would read “Bipartisan panel”.

That, or they would just leave it at ‘Congressional panel’.

Elijah Cummings is a piece of...well, work. That too.

Calling people out for crimes, if they are within 2 degrees of Clinton, is an attack on poor sick stumbling Hillary (”Ill” ary)

Cummings doesn’t seem to understand the difference between right or wrong. If Pagliano was a republican, Cummings would be all over it...but he only thinks in the color blue...or black..not a shred of ethics.
His one track mind and those of his ilk are the reason for this country being in the mess it is.

He can be arrested and housed in the basement of the HOR until the Session adjourns.

No mention of any legal penalty or consequence for this contempt determination. You’d think at least he’d never be able to eat lunch in that town again.

I am currently in contempt of congress and have been most years, with one or two exceptions since I was 21.

This is the same Elijah Cummings that used the House Committee Leaderhead to send intimidating letters to Right to Vote founder and then show up at their Place of Business claiming he was investigating...who then were investigated and visited by no less than 5 Government agencies to harass them.

FUEC Lowlife Communist SCUM!

Pagliano is in big trouble (NOT). He should retain Eric Holder’s law firm to advise him on how to deal with a Congressional Contempt Citation. I think Eric’s strategy was “ignore.”

How come when the Democrats control the House, it is never called, ‘Democrat controlled House’?

The Reps have no idea what they are doing. They would have had a plan to enforce upon the vote outcome. This will drag on like every other BS committee hearing. Put him in jail and let him stew. Meanwhile find out what laws he broke. He doesn’t have immunity from breaking the law. He has immunity from testifying. One would seriously doubt he would have Blanket Immunity. Make Obama squirm also. He would have to quickly issue a pardon of some type. DOJ would also look bad trying to bail this traitor out. These people need to move with deliberate speed.

I don't see why he doesn't just show up. He can decline to say anything like the others. Nothing is going to happen. No one cares about any of this (except us).

"He's in contempt. He's in contempt. No one cares."

“Just like they called it a ‘Democrat led ‘ panel investigated Nixon.”

From which Hillary Clinton was fired by other Democrats for being unethical.

Jail is always the preferable option instead of a dirt nap. Ask Susan McDougal.
