This morning, the Tea Party Patriots’ super PAC endorsed Donald J. Trump for president.
Jenny Beth Martin, CEO of the organization, announced the news in a statement and on “Fox and Friends” Thursday morning.
“On the question of whether to support Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund — the super PAC affiliated with the largest Tea Party organization in the country — has made its choice,” Martin said in her statement.
“Hillary Clinton stands opposed to everything the Tea Party stands for, on the policy, political, and personal fronts. Donald Trump, on the other hand, has pledged to fight to uphold our core values. In making a choice between the two of them, there is really no choice at all — we choose Trump.”
The super PAC has plans to get out the vote for the Republican nominee and Republican Senate candidates in four key states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina.
Martin also said this in her statement: “The simple fact is this: With a Republican House and a Republican Senate and Donald Trump in the White House, Tea Party members and supporters will be far more likely to see our preferred policy choices enacted into law: We are far likelier to see the future of the Supreme Court protected, the borders secured, terrorism fought effectively, ObamaCare repealed, the national debt reduced, and the tax code reformed in such a way that the economy is energized and job growth soars. Consequently, Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund endorses Donald Trump for president.”
I have no problem with TPP except with its leader and her record of service, help and funding support to conservative candidates.
Frankly, JBM’s endorsement of Trump is welcomed and her words are nice, but I want to see DOLLARS this organization has collected in conservatism’s name applied to her claims they are going to “get out the vote in those critical states.”
I’ve done a lot of research on this fellow Georgian leader and in my opinion, she his a scam artist making a damned good living off “Tea Party” sentiment. Google her and spend and hour or two and you’ll find out for yourself.

This comes on the same day I get a snail-mail from Ted Cruz asking me to donate a hundred or a thousand dollars to Chuck Grassley’s re-election campaign. What a hoot!
My Senators are Linseed Graham and Timmy Scott, neither of whom will ever get a penny from me.
The U.S. Senate has openly become the Roman Senate somewhere along the way.

I won’t donate to any organization that has the words “tea” and “party” in their name.
Frankly, I think ALL of them are scams.
I donate directly to the candidate who best reflects my beliefs and values.
And, of course, Free Republic; monthly (hint hint).

Frankly, in my opinion her words are just media bullshit that helps her fundraise in the name of Trump. I really don’t believe she’ll spend much money at all behind the effort except words. I’ve done way too much research on her and what her organization has done before this to believe anything substantive will come of it except her getting richer.
Nice to see they are so far out in front on this endorsement thing...

Yes. JennyBeth was initially (and until recently) a never Trumper. Her funds dried up and - viola - she’s had a change of heart. Imagine that!
