Now, they’ve ticked me off.
Just don't go unarmed.
Different part of the city. If “unrest” has moved to SouthPark by then, I’m sure the Diocese will relocate the conference.
And NASCAR retaliated by taking the traditional Atlanta Labor Day race and moving it to the second race of the season...usually not a good time to be sitting outside in one place for hours.
“The guy had a criminal record as well.”
The dead guy is supposedly 43 years old.
The only mugshot I found for a Keith Lamont Scott shows a guy who looks much younger, late teens, maybe early 20s.
Perhaps someone has different info.
The Charlotte PD need to release the dash cam video if it exonerates the cops, ASAP. With holding it gives the rioters time and “space to destroy.”
Throw downs DO happen. The video will reveal whether it was a good shoot or a bad shoot.
Well, whenever you build something in a predominantly black area (ghetto), you take the risk of being vandalized, raped, robbed or murdered. Which is why insurance premiums for (life, auto, home) in such areas are so much higher than the suburbs where whites and Asians area concentrated.
Feral animals are feral animals. That’s why the zoo keeps them behind glass walls, iron gates and surrounded by moats.
Preview of things to come, perhaps the day after the election no matter who wins. Napoleon started his raise to power by putting down riots in Paris with “a whiff of grapeshot”?
NON-police video clearly shows the weapon............
WITNESSES ON THE STREET................
Ok, didn’t know about that. Is there a link to that?
You seem to think the rioters care about whether the late Mr. Scott had a gun at the time he was shot. What a joke ... almost as funny as the claim that he had a book in his hand.
Yes, they got THAT part right. Although if Bozo Brian France was stupid enough to put anything of value on ANY street named Martin Luther King, he pretty much got what he deserved.
True, the rioters don’t / won’t care. They’ll burn and loot regardless.
But the truth makes a difference to those of us who respect the law.
The use of dash cams was instituted for two reasons:
to record evidence to protect good cops from bogus claims;
to record evidence to weed out bad cops.
Throw downs weren’t uncommon in the days before dash cams.
I was told this many years ago BY A COP. He said that shootings by police weren’t necessarily motivated by racism, but when the cop has a split second to react, any unexpected move can be misinterpreted as the suspect is going for a gun.
When no gun is found-—oops. The PD now had a problem.
Hence, cops carrying an extra weapon to use as a throw down was not unusual; in fact, he said it was SOP.
Another FReeper, Red Badger, says civilian witnesses recorded the incident, and the dead guy pulled a gun.
That’s all I’m saying-—video, not a still photo, will reveal the whole truth, for or against the cop.
But yes, you’re right, the thugs are gonna thug, regardless.
Watts up doc?
NASCAR! Now they’ve done it!
“I fear all we have done today is to awaken a great, sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”
- Adm. Yamamoto
See post #71.
Very conflicting accounts. But the PD admits the cop was in plain clothes and not wearing a body cam.
And the witness account was a still photo, after the shots fired, showing a gun on the ground by the body.
No video of suspect alive, holding gun, or the shooting as it occurred.
Not good for the cop, with respect to a likely grand jury.
Big screen tv displays?
“...zoos...”??? Isn’t that racisssssss?
We don’t know. They refuse to release the video. That’s all they have to do to stop this but they won’t.
Stability and success. Like the Palestinians, the BLM ferals want to destroy anything that sheds light on the miserable failure that represents their lives.
