The NASCAR Hall of Fame has been looted overnight in Charlotte, NC. Windows shattered, signs hanging through glass on $195 million dollar museum. A state of emergency declared on the city, the home of NASCAR.

Keith Lamont Scott, father of 7, was killed Tuesday, at the hands of police. Another black man killed by police had the Black Lives Matter community taking to the streets demanding justice or proof of justified action.

Police claim Scott was reaching through the window of his vehicle for a gun. However, photos of the aftermath show a window rolled up. That puts holes in the story of the police. To make things worse, the family claims it was a book, not a gun. There is a video of the altercation and the community is demanding to see it.

Tear gas forced protestors and rioters to scatter across the city. Looters were filmed on live television as they busted windows and entered stores. Leaving with TV’s, electronics and anything they could carry.

It was the second night of protests in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. Tonight started peaceful. However, after the first few rounds of tear gas were dispersed, the peaceful ones evacuated, leaving nothing but rioters.

Several businesses including the NASCAR Hall of Fame were looted in the process of outrage. Buffalo Wild Wings, nearby the NASCAR Hall of Fame was also hit, rocks thrown through windows. The Hyatt Hotel and likely a hundred or so more businesses were inflicted with damage.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame was one of the Charlotte businesses hit by looters. The NASCAR Hall of Fame opened in 2010 at a cost of $195 million. The building was erected due to $137 million in bank loans from the city of Charlotte. Construction for the NASCAR museum started on the 400 E. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd site in 2007.

I think they have their narratives mixed up with the Tulsa shooting.
This will kill downtown Charlotte

What would the NASCAR museum have to attract looters?

That’s ok, they balanced it out by looting the Charlotte Hornets store too.

I just did a googles search on Keith Lamont Scott and not once did the fact that a black police officer was involved show up in the first few lines of each result. You had to dig down deeper into the article and sometimes it would add that fact.

So, as another poster mentioned, a black man was shot by a black police officer who is commanded by a black police chief in a majority black city and black people riot and destroy black businesses because it is “whiteys” fault.

And why would any sensible business establishment deliberately locate itself on Martin Looter King Blvd.?

I’ll bet this just tickled the Kenyan bastard to death. He’s lovin’ it. NASCAR is just too American for him. Too white.

The city changed the name on them ... not all that long ago, in the last decade or so.

“Construction for the NASCAR museum started on the 400 East Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. site in 2007.”

There’s the problem right there.

Any large city that has a “Martin Luther King” Blvd......it’s going to be a bad neighborhood.

Even Chris Rock mentions that in his comedy routines.
