FOX News is currently broadcasting an ongoing riot by black lives matters and other agitator groups in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. One black man has been shot and a Nother has been injured. The identity of the shooter has not been determined. They are rioting in front of the Ritz Carlton and Omni hotels, and have also destroyed a Mercedes SUV. It is complete bedlam over the shooting of a armed black man by a black police officer.

Looks like media SOP tonight is that “peaceful” MUST be said and “riot” is NOT to be said. These are all things I’ve heard on WSOC in the last 20 minutes or so: “other protests earlier, that were peaceful...”, or how “this protest began peacefully...”, “we hope this protest returns to being peaceful again...”. Absolutely no description of what is currently happening actually is.
Usually the county judge, EOC MGR, or Mayor initiates a MOU with the state NG. Not the Chief of Police. He usually should liaison with other City/county EOM types. Methinks the Governor saw weak, liberal mayor and went over her head.
