TORONTO — Police say all schools on the small Canadian province of Prince Edward Island have been evacuated because of a "potential threat."
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said Wednesday that students are being taken to safe locations. Police provided no other details, but say a news conference will be held later in the day.
Parents and guardians are being asked to wait for further instructions before picking up their children.
Three schools in the nearby province of Nova Scotia — NSCC Marconi Campus, Cape Breton University and the NSCC technology campus in Halifax — also have also been evacuated due to potential threats.
Just wait until winter hits PEI in 2 weeks. They’ll never know what hit them.

My guess is they’re not in any of the schools evacuated....just my opinion.

They’re saying it was a FAXED threat???? Who the hell even has a FAX machine these days?????
I’m sorry, it sounds to me like they got the information from spying on someone and now they’re trying to explain it away and it’s some old guy who came up with this story becuse he still uses the FAX machine and not that newfangled thing with all the tubes in it.
I’m amused at the notion of potential threats.

RCMP spokesman Sgt. Kevin Bailey said the threat came via fax Wednesday morning, and that schools were notified within 10 minutes.
“There’s been no threat found. Everybody is safe,” Bailey told reporters at a noon news conference.
He said the threat suggested bombs had been planted at several schools.
Not long ago, I did a Google search on another topic about the Maritimes and I ended up coming across an article that discussed population loss in the area (people leaving places like New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island to go to Ontario and Alberta for better job opportunities, etc). This stuck in my mind in that not long ago, Rebel Media was really the only Canadian media outlet that gave any attention whatsoever (on an initial basis at least) to the alleged bad behaviour of young refugee men and boys towards girls in Fredericton, NB public high schools. One of the things in that story was that the local CTV and CBC outlets were basically told by the authorities to not discuss publicly these allegations of bad, harassment-related behaviour.
It really fits now, the local politicians probably saw these migrants from Syria and elsewhere like that as the quick solution to population decline in the Maritimes and that is why they wanted to cover up these stories. Not good hearing about this latest thing now.
The more muslims you allow in your country, the more terrorism. Eastern Europe doesn’t have this problem.

I don’t know - this seems pretty extreme to me. I’ve been through school evacuations for bomb threats - never a whole region involving so many. I think there must have been some credible evidence of a serious threat - either that, or they have a Bill DeBlasio type psycho running the show there.

Was camping there in the early 70’s and had to cut it short because of impeding Canadian Rail workers strike. Case of get off the island or be stranded for duration of strike.

If it was sent from a fax machine, it should be pretty easy to narrow it down to about the dozen people on PEI who have one.
However, my Win 98 machine had an email-to-fax program on it. That could increase the search list to several scores.
Lots of faxes still produced.
Need them for legal purposes. Also sometimes it’s just convenient with papers.

Seems extreme to me evacuating soooo many. After all, they’d still be sitting ducks - just not in (mulitple) buildings.
Trudeau, and idiot and likely Soros agent/puppet, is trying to create a terrorist migration conduit through our northern border. We may have to build a wall on the northern border, too. And Canada should pay for it.
I was there in ‘98. Helicoptered in for dinner then left shortly afterwards. What I saw was beautiful!!
