Kaine is of no use to the Hillary campaign. This is not who he is but rather what he’s being told to do. If he refuses to play along with this new tactic accident could happen.
Kaine was quoting Trump from months ago when Trump expressed that he had an urge to punch violent protestor in the face...although at the time Trump also made it clear that we have to simply tolerate them and he discouraged violence. Kaine took Trump out of context and created a false narrative on that Trump was promoting violence, which was simply wrong. Nor was Kaine held accountable to denounce the thugs that were using violence and threats to shut down free speech and the violence that had to be endured by Trump and his supporters.
Also Kaine misquoted the Donald on his comments about the NRA. Kaine repeated the misquote and promoted the false narrative that Trump had suggested the NRA do something violent.
While I've said that Trump shoots too often from the lip, I think your above would make a good Tweet comeback. Of course, the MSM would have a field day calling it an implied threat, but the original threat of Kaine "punching" Trump would be seen and discussed around the entire World. It couldn't be buried.
I believe your suggested Trump reply would be seen as strength and power and resolve. Let's set up a "cage match" between Trump and Kaine. Ha!
Few people know that Donald Trump was the first to offer the UFC MMA fights national exposure. He has even been inducted as their hall of fame, if not as a fighter, than as a driving force behind it when, coincidentally, John McCain was trying to outlaw it across the US. (McCain later came around.)
This says to me that if any of his MMA buddies are in the room, and somebody throws a punch at Trump, they might get more than they bargained for.
