No such thing as moderate islam.
Oh sure there is moderate Islam just like there are will-o-the-wisps. I daresay that much/most of the population of what is now ISIS was once that way.
The forces that constrained most world Islam to be “moderate” have weakened in recent decades. Christendom has faded.
Remember 9/11 and the "Never forget" meme? We forgot about that in record time. Bringing these people here, mainline denominations eager to help them settle. Social services falling all over themselves to give them free medical, free food, free housing.
