FAIRFAX, Va. — With in-person voting for the presidential election starting Friday in Virginia, election officials who will be counting the most votes in the commonwealth say new systems there should allay concerns about hacking.
Voters in Fairfax County will first fill out paper ballots and then feed those paper forms into scanners that actually tally the votes — and drop the paper ballots into a bin that is locked and sealed as a record.
“This is a completely secure system that never has any connection to the internet,” said Fairfax County Registrar Cameron Sasnett, who provided reporters with a demonstration of the new system.
The paper ballot that voters will fill out with pens will also better show the voter’s intent, “because it will be captured on that ballot with that ink,” he added.
The approximately 600 machines that will be used in the county have been tested, locked and sealed with seals that change color if they are broken.

Does it check the obituaries for dead Democrats voting?

Have the votes already been put in the machines?
Are they pre-programmed to switch votes from Trump to Hillary?
We are obviously skeptical.
Their internal software can be wrong right now.
Remember vw “test mode” vs actual driving mode?
It wont stop fraud on the front end but there is a paper record.
My precinct in Fairfax uses a similar system. Fill out a paper ballot feed it into an optical scanner.
There is a paper record if there is a challenge.
I did not know we had early voting in Virginia.
I always go on election day.
As someone who has helped with voting on election day for years, I can guarantee you no system is “completely secure.”
Donald Trump needs to win with a total that is large enough to overcome the voter fraud. I’m guessing somewhere between 8 and 15%.

I received an email today from the Fairfax County Republican Committee (FCRC) looking for volunteers to cover all the polls that are opening up Friday. We’ll all need to devote some hours!

For those of you not in VA, Fairfax County is the one that always comes in late with a HUGE pile of votes for %Democrat%. Heavily Moonbatty area. Color me more than skeptical.
Fairfax is NoVa Democrat ground zero.
Only says “from hacking” Now as to voter ID...HAHAHA
That’s the only system we’ve used in western Fairfax since we moved here eight years ago.
