Trump’s victory will redefine POTUS campaign “best practices”. You can’t just buy your way into the office; you actually have to have a real message for the voters and put in the hard work.
Trump: $4M. And Trump is pulling ahead. And Trump retains his cash reserves for later in the campaign.
Clinton: 75,000,000. Trump: 548,000. Trump has not even started. Where is the 80 million he raised last month? I hope his reasoning is rational behind this strategy. So far it appears to be.
This is probably part of the reason why the LSM hates Trump.
Don’t fire until you see the whites of their eyes!

I am hearing Johnson ads during every ad break on the local talk show station. It’s a tight state so I’m assuming the DNC is funding the air time to get votes from Trump.
Trump gets $10,000,000 or more per day in TV/media publicity because they all flock to cover his every speech, comment, tweet and movement because he’s the hottest, most interesting, most exciting and most newsworthy thing to hit politics in generations.
Gets the equivalent of another ten million on every gaffe and stumble made by his hapless, flailing opponent.
I remember hearing from dirtbag Romney (in '12) that ads would carpet bomb the airwaves after Labor Day.. Then October.. Then last 2 weeks... They never came... I really hope Trump spends on this
His message of job growth and success in business has been among the best any candidate has ever had, yet the shameless biased media, coupled with $140 million in ads, has done severe damage... Yes, he's ahead by a couple of points, but he should be ahead by 20... IMHO
I just saw my first Gary Johnson ad. He says he has ‘tolerant social views’ and ‘sane foreign policy’, etc. Gosh, could he be more vague??
In
Jeb Bush territory there.
Large hat, no cattle.
Hope Trump’s saving big bucks for his get-out-the-vote effort on election day - Romney’s supposedly crashed leaving a lot of potential votes untapped - Trump needs to contact every available voter shortly before or on the day of the election to remind them and urge them to go to the polls, either by phone bank or robo-call - that effort should be well on the way in planning and staffing by now.....
I have seen one Trump ad, the “Hillary’s America” one. OK, not a great ad.
I’ve seen one of Hillary’s. It’s designed to frighten, and it’s overdone.
I’ve seen one of Johnson’s, and it’s pretty bland.
All three could use much better advertising.
Amazing statistics. Totally under budget for Trump — and his polls are going up! This guys is a winner.
Good on Trump for holding.
If he needs ads, he’ll buy them, but not until then.
I predicted long ago that Trumps judgement would cause aneurisms here at FR, and from reading this thread it looks like that may be the case.
