Clinton: This election can be downright depressing sometimes
Washington Examiner ^ | 9/19/2016 | T. Becket Adams

Hillary Clinton empathized Monday with voters who say the 2016 election is too bitter and contentious, and said at a rally that the race this year for the White House has been depressing at times.

"Politics can be discouraging," the Democratic nominee said at a campaign stop in Pennsylvania.

"This election in particular can be downright depressing sometimes," she said, adding that, "it matters, it really does" that good people run for office and implement good laws.

Hillary, dear, dear hHillary, don’t you FEEL the MALAISE setting in. It’s okay. A nice nap will make you feel better.

You know, if that upstart Obama didn’t jump the line in 2008 YOU could have had the power. The first woman president. HE took it from you.

If I were Hillary, I’d be suicidal.

You're not really joking. Her entire life has been focused on becoming the first female POTUS. Once that dream is squashed for good, what does she have to live for?

She might well be.

It truly scares me to think how it must feel to be her.

She probably can’t take as much in bribes right now because of the fear she will be caught.

She’s been in power for what, 30 years? Maybe she ought to look in a mirror.

______

Nothing. I can’t see her in the rocking chair with Bill by her side on the front porch.

Her grandchildren and yoga lessons? Maybe she could learn how to bake cookies again.

You are right, I am worried that before this is over, we will see millions of dead people mysteriously rising out of their graves to vote Democrat. Plus a lot of folks with Hispanic names and no known address.

As a voter, I agree that this campaign at time has been depressing. How on Earth could this woman be leading in most of the polls?

If I were a Dem I'd be crying in my latte. How did she ever become candidate in the first place?

The media gloated over the implosion of the GOP, but what about the other side? Couldn't they have done any better? Trump aside, the GOP came up with some young virile candidates. The Dems had -- Hillary & Bernie? That was all they could scrap together? I don't understand why no one younger or more interesting could have stepped up to the plate. Hillary might win the young vote simply because they've unfortunately become very corrupt & amoral, thanks to PC ap-cray.

It is depressing and discouraging when a candidate as bad as Hillary keeps beating the drum of racism while the world burns.

She keeps saying that she is going to focus on her ‘positive’ campaign, but then launches into attacks on Trump. And a green cartoon frog.
