Haven't watched 1 minute of NFL so far this year and don't intend to. The NFL is banned for now in this house.

Goodell is the problem. He is a political hack and leftist. I have been a Dolphins fan since the last 60’s and I won’t watch them and hope they lose every damned game and their attention whores can stay in the mud on their knees where they belong.
Correct. If Trump does become President (and I think the chances a increasing he will), watch for Trump to directly ask Goodell to have a nice, long chat at the White House about stopping these ridiculous shenanigans. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised within a week of Trump’s win, Goodell announces he will step down as NFL Commissioner at the end of the football calendar year at the end of February 2017.
For me and this is watching years and years of the NFL, it just seems many games have predetermined outcomes based on what teams can and cannot get away with from the refs.
Just watch what the refs allow and don’t allow and you’ll see how that gives one team an advantage over the other. They are just as bad as pro wrestling these days.
It didn’t help that the NFL went all in on political correctness as well.
