Well, I watched the beginning of the Lions blowing another halftime lead (this time losing in the end to Tennessee). Like I should really be bothered with watching something like that again, lol.

Maybe the new ‘social justice warriors in jerseys’ should protest these lower TV ratings by flicking the bird into the cameras to show their displeasure to the TV audience.

Going down farther the more they insult the people who pay the bills.

Maybe they should try spitting on the Flag and Whitey some more?

Pray America wakes

NFL - may you sink to obscurity and lose billions in revenue. Was a great week of not watching the dishonorable cretin football show led by the master cretin Roger Badhell.

Last night I turned off the TV, not because there was nothing on, but because it sucked.

I had heard that the Emmys were political, and that can only mean one thing, scratch that.

Then the Packers and Vikings, 7 to 7 near the half. Yawn.

Depressing news elsewhere.

Back to the internet it is.

If the NFL experiences the same 8 to 14 percent drop for Week 2 compared to Week 2 last season, I think Roger Goodell will likely take action and order these anthem protests immediately stop. Given that NFL earns the majority of its money from TV rights revenue, a significant drop like this will result in lower revenue from the NFL's official advertisers, which in turn could actually affect the salary cap for next season.

In short, the NFL needs to heed the experience of Target Corporation, who suffered substantial revenue and stock price losses due to its ill-advised bathroom policy.

Was a Bills fan. I just stopped watching. I just got bored with it. Now I ride my bike and look at the the leaves turning.

Keep up the good work, patriots. American patriots, that is.

New England Patriots are also welcome to join in the fun!

I’ve not watched and I enjoy the nfl. But if the nfl doesn’t respect the flag then I don’t respect the NFL.

Sports are supposed to be diversion. When they become part of what you are trying to divert yourself from, why bother watching?

At best, the NFL can only get 28,000,000 people to watch a game.

Too much depends on the quality of the match-ups to compare week to week. The Thursday night game (Bills-Jets), for instance is between two teams that do not really have a national following, of which you are lucky to get one wild card between the two, and MAYBE one winning record.

It was competitive, but there is no compelling backstory, no individual stars to get people to tune in, and no "great" football.

Bendy, love your NFL prediction threads and I honor your request not to be a wet blanket on the fun which I think is a good idea. I’ll probably jump in as always at the playoffs (I’m 61% ten years running - not half bad).

But “offline”, as you know, the NFL is really turning me off. My team is the Niners but now along with Miami fugeddabouddit. I think the only team I may watch are the Seahawks who stand together FOR America and the flag.
