No thank you, Obama The new Census report on income and poverty proves why no thanks are due
The Washington Times ^ | Sunday, September 18, 2016 | Stephen Moore

While touting the new Census report on income and poverty in America, Barack Obama took credit for $2 a gallon gasoline, and immodestly shouted to his crowd of supporters: “Thank you, Obama.”

I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but given that for eight years your administration has done everything to decapitate the oil and gas industry that gave us low gas prices, sorry, no thanks are in order Mr. President.

Even more amazing was Mr. Obama’s victory lap on the income numbers. Yes, incomes for middle class families rose by an impressive 5 percent in 2015. And poverty fell. Thank goodness. It’s about time.

But the Census report was anything but cause for celebration. It is a stinging indictment...

...Americans say by a two-to-one margin that the country is going in the wrong direction. Census found that American incomes are lower...

...Americans are poorer today than they were in 2000...

...more than 43 million Americans in poverty today...

...economic growth has been abysmally low over the last decade. And second, a smaller share of adults are actually working...

...lack of economic progress for black Americans under the Obama administration...

...The left’s flimsy explanation for all this slow growth is that this is the best America can do in the 21st century. But Donald Trump put it very well in his economic speech last Thursday at the New York Economic Club when he admonished the liberal policies that have put us in this current state. “This isn’t the best America can do...

...Tax cuts, regulatory relief, energy production, school choice, and repealing Obamacare will fix all of this...

He’s taking a victory lap for his success in transforming America into a much weaker country which was his main goal to begin with although he didn’t achieve 3rd world status yet.

I think they forgot “middle class gub’mint families” because no one else wages have risen the past 10 years, unless you count taking on a part time job in addition to your full time job as a wage increase (which they probably do).

From A to Z, all is lies that Obamma spewed on his demonic assault on christianity and the Israeli people.
God holds America responsible for turning it’s back on Israel.

The American Dream is dead for most; they can’t conceive of ever owning a home or even a car.

Relatives are building an addition on their house so their son and his family can move in with them. Both husband and wife are in their early 40’s, gainfully employed, but unable to support themselves due to student debt, medical expenses, health insurance, pre-school and school expenses. School is a big part of the problem as they refuse to enroll their children into the public abyss call an educational system. Is this the America we’ve become where even working professionals can’t support a household?

In four years, when the census is again held, Americans need to push for it to return to just the one thing it is constitutionally authorized to do: conduct an “actual enumeration” of American citizens.

To start with, this means that illegal aliens do not count.

It also means that the government cannot use the force of law to compel people to provide personal data for government use.

Not their business. So cut it out.

It’s the best you are going to do under our new socialist system of income redistribution, how do those millennial feel about paying through the nose for everyone else’s healthcare?
So what if you are trying to pay a mortgage, raise children, save for college for them, just live and see thousands going out for deductibles and premiums on healthcare you in most cases at your age don’t use. Thanks for paying

Nice; thanks. Otoken doesn’t even address white people (particularly families); he just deals with those in his comfort zone: ghetto folk impressed that he even has a “job”...

That America is what the NYC metro area is dealing with - and the cause of an exodus of Americans from the whole area. Older people can’t retire until the house is sold, since taxes are too high to pay on retirement funds, and often nobody wants to pay much for homes with 5-figure tax bills. Foreigners are trafficked here to keep housing occupied, but it isn’t helping in the long run; too many aren’t here to contribute, just take.
