I initily thought Kasich was angling to become the face of the Republican party, either as the “reasonable alternative” after a Trump loss or as the shadow alternative in the event of a Trump victory.
I now think Kasich is angling for a party switch in the event of a Hillary loss to become the “reasonable alternative” for a party having a harder and harder time pretending to not be socialist, or a cabinet position if she wins for the same purpose.
Every bit of it is scum.
