I prefer edibles myself. Barring that I use a vaporizer. Get all the medicinal benefits without inhaling smoke.

Vote Trump 2016

I think so too. It will be a hell of a lot easier for the muslims to cut their throats when the time comes if they are stoned and docile.

[...] legalizing pot could increase squalor on the streets of San Francisco. They warn that with legalization, downtown could smell like pot smoke [...]

Frankly, it might actually help mask the pungent smell of feces and urine.

Legal or not-I honestly don’t get it how anyone can smoke that stinking weed

And I don't understand how anyone can like stockcar racing, demolition derbies, Nascar, televised sports, Marmite(R), Wonderbread(R)...

Just thought I'd add something equally irrelevant to the discussion.

Regards,

Where was it that a driver, having smoked half a joint of prescribed “medical marijuana” ran his car into a police officer, killing him? BLM maybe studying this.

It looks to me like they are tending a crop of kale, or some leafed salad plant in that picture, not marijuana.

My first thought too.

Chthulhu prefers edibles as well. Alive and screaming. Although it isn’t averse to vaporizing.

For health reasons, it’ll devour some kale fields as well.

See, that’s what happens when you get your information from the government, mate.

You end up believing a pack of lies.

I lived through the 60's and smelled plenty of marijuana. I thought it smelled OK, nothing near as bad as tobacco smoke.
The kale part was just because that is what some people said was the subject of the picture provided.

Because the only thing worse than an evil Ancient One is a constipated evil Ancient One.

Happens with alcohol as well. Idiots and chemicals don’t mix well.

The states can decide for themselves whether the costs of legalization outweigh the benefits. As usual, the worst fears of the opponents and the sunniest predictions of the advocates have not come to pass.

Cali is going to vote to legalize; you can take that to the bank.

"...to a place where the state can regulate and tax it."

If you make it legal, how do you regulate and tax something everyone can grow in their back yard? And if you aren't industrious enough to grow your own, find a neighbor who is.

There's a reason marijuana laws don't work:

The reason is that we should be shooting drug dealers and not toying around with them.

Growing cannabis will be legal, all right—until the farmers have to conform to USDA regulations on how to grow them and FDA regulations on THC levels and “purity” of the cannabis plant itself. There could be a lot less cannabis farmers than people realize when you have to deal with government agencies in regards to agriculture and intoxicant levels—within 30 years watch for most cannabis to be grown by corporate farms or farms owned by people with a lot of money.

Spinach used to be my most favorite vegetable when I was a child. I liked it the way my mother cooked it.

That will collapse the entire North Coast economy, as legalization undercuts growers' pricing power.

I'm honestly not sure California can afford to do this - unless they are willing to pony up an extra $10 billion in welfare benefits for displaced independent growers. :)

Re demolition derby- you seen one demolition derby you seen ‘em all. The same goes for tractor pulls. When my husband retired from the Army in 1979 he went the work on Farm equipment and our county held tractor pulls every year. After two years I got bored.

That would stop the first time you lined up a kid selling dime bags at his Ivy League school up against the wall.
