You hit on the underlying reason why the genie isn’t going back into the bottle: the states that legalized with I think the exception of WA allow adults to cultivate. In AK it’s up to 24 plants. People aren’t going to just toss what they don’t use in the trash and some folks who don’t even use the stuff are going to try their hands at cultivation.

And that is exactly why they smoke it each and every day, probably several times. Reality just keeps piling up and so they get more and more motivated to hide from it.

And I used to smoke it, so I know exactly what I am talking about. Thankfully only for a couple of years, and when it was nowhere near as potent as it is now. I have also seen what it does to users. They’re in their own world, and it ain’t the real world.
