On the one hand, there's no doubt that the last 50 years have seen social destruction in this country that is largely driven by leftist politics.
On the other hand, we've gotten to the point where Democratic candidates are pushed by Wall Street because they sell out so easily. Liberals don't like to remember that most of Newt Gingrich's "Contract with America" was actually signed into law -- by Bill Clinton.
The worst Republican nominee of the last five decades was Mitt Romney, who somehow found a way to lose to an unpopular president who governed against the will of the American psople and presided over a bad economy. The next worse nominees were McCain, Dole, Ford and the Bushes.

In a political sense, they've already been eliminated as the nation's largest minority, and they will become less and less influential if current trends continue. I've heard individual blacks express concern about that, but their 'leaders' seem oblivious to it while they seek short term alliances with other minorities.

The LSM is a shadow of its former Self, because, due to the alternative media telling the truth, they have lost most of their viewers and are no longer able to convince their remaining viewers to think like they do. Lies just become so apparent when contrasted with the truth.
The #NeverTrumpers are a combo of LSM, Big Government and Military-Industrial complex, but I repeat myself. That's been made abundantly clear recently thanks to Donald J. Trump.
The Education establishment is on the ropes, since last year when the inmates (students) took over the asylum. Safe spaces, freaking out at Halloween costumes, etc have caused them to lose endowment and students and any stitch of credibility they had with normal people and even some liberals. The only good part is seeing the liberal professors faces when faced with verbal attacks from their students for not being liberal enough.
This is absurd. Liberals have won every presidential election since Bush 1, with the exception of 2000 and 2004. Their courts overrule our ballots routinely. They flaunt the law and dispense favors. Their people live like monarchs and drain us of our wages. They control thought and speech through political correctness.
That’s winning? Rush Limbaugh said that in 1993. It was stupid then and insane now.
Well, not only that, but the GOP in presidential elections has only won the popular vote once since 1988.
That’s why I find GOP Inc boosters particularly maddening. They stick to the 1988 campaign book, continue to lose, and somehow think minor changes here and there will reverse the trend.
It’s crazy.
Tons of bureaucrats that will have to be fired.
Stakes must be driven through their hearts.
