I attended and graduated from UH in the late 70s. The neighborhood was dicey even then.

There is also a comment in this article worth noting: As scary as this was, Ford actually feels bad for the guy. "I would've gave him money," he said. The feral urban ape wouldn't have listened, because he's incapable of listening, even if he was interested in what you have to say. Maybe if the feral urban ape had beaten you so hard you had to spend a couple weeks recovering, you'd pull your head out of your ass and realize how dangerously stupid you are.
