There was still a generation of committed black Republican voters in that time. My grandparents all voted for “the party of Lincoln” til their dying day.
The party of Trump is now welcoming blacks back from the Democrat plantation. Looks like one in four are accepting that invitation. By 2020, I bet it’ll be two in four.

I hope she croaks from the reality. I am serious. I wish her dead. As do many people, but she needs to survive until the election.
If they replace her with a stupid but likable idiot (Joe Biden or similar), then Trump could lose. Too many Americans are not intelligent enough to realize that we are voting on someone to do a difficult job, not someone to be our next prom queen.
