I hated the M16, the M14 was much better in Mass Shootings when I was in VN.
I was thinking when they said ban one of the most powerful weapons they were talking about Starbucks coffee.

One hundred and forty years ago the terror weapon was the tube fed lever action rifle in the hands of the Sioux and Cheyennes.
No one ever demanded that particular rifle should be banned from all ownership!
Please, if you wish to ban these items from those of us who would use them in self-defense, please come take them from us yourselves. Yes, come knock on my door, and demand them.
