Is the Democratic National Committee looking into the possibility that Hillary Clinton will step aside? Or perhaps even forcing her to?
Cokie Roberts said on NPR's Morning Edition on Monday that Democrats are "angry at the lack of transparency" after Clinton's collapse on a New York City street on Sunday.
"It was hours after the pneumonia diagnosis was revealed after seeing this incredibly damaging video of her being helped and stumbling into a van," Roberts said.
"Look, there's a reason why the campaign's not transparent, obviously, it gives Trump ammunition and he's been setting her up for this for months.
"Back in January, he started saying she didn't have the strength and stamina to be president and he knew at some point that she, like all candidates, would get exhausted," Roberts said.
"But the fact that it comes now, when the polls are tightening, and Democrats were already saying that Hillary was the only candidate who could not beat Trump. And it's taking her off of the campaign trail, canceling her trip to California today.
"It has them very nervously beginning to whisper about trying to have her step aside and finding another candidate," Roberts said.

I wish people would stop saying this. Hillary could kill a baby and dog live on TV and end up on life-support a month before the election, and she would still gather at least 200 EVs. There are that many screwed up states, including the one I live in (California).

She might win a few states, but Trump has this in the bag. That does not mean that Trump won’t need to eviscerate her and drive a stake in her heart a la Dracula, but as of this instant she has no hope of winning.

Since much of the democrat support comes from the Republican Establishment this year, they should probably reach out and replace Hillary with Jeb Bush.

A story appeared yesterday similar to what now is being outed by Roberts. It was cast aside by many as being not worthy of any credence. Now that this has been given mainstream credence the issue appears obvious. If she dies campaigning or goes comatose the MSM and the enablers will be exposed as having abetted in her physical demise all in the name of power. Not good for business. This is why WApost for the first time stated her health has become an issue. So I’m sure the Demo powers are indeed in panic mode. The perception of rag doll Hillary being dragged into a van by enablers has hit a political nerve.

actually, a generic Dem already has at least 256 EV’s locked up,(those believing PA or WI could flip are dreaming) so Hilary Clinton could go into hospice care and it would make no difference; in fact, it would probably ensure a Dem win...

‘Illary’s got something on everyone who might approach her to step down. And, she’s got the will to use it. Asking Ivan the Terrible to step down won’t work. If they want to get rid of her they will either have to pray she expires or they will have to arrange it.

Its too late to get rid of her now unless she keels over and dies. Early voting is going to be starting g any dasdasy now.
40% are going to vote for the democrat even if the ballot was blank. I’ll be content with anything that puts Trump in and the democrat out.
