Mendez was found outside. The vest was found in the house with a bullet entrance hole. Has ballistics bothered to match up the hole in the vest with the bullet hole in the body? It is more than odd one would take the vest off of someone just shot. Wouldn't you first call 911?

I guy I knew in college got his hands on a “bulletproof vest.” As a gag he wore it to a party and asked a friend to come stab him in the back with a knife to shock the people there. He was the one who got the shock when he wound up in the hospital with a punctured lung.
