I still don't think Hillary is going anywhere. If it gets worse they will play the FDR card and lecture us about how a guy in a wheelchair won WWII. As long as she is alive she stays in IMO. They may get a stunt double to walk around some cities waving at people.

Correct. If you read the last paragraph of my post, you’ll see the precedent from 1872. Up until December 19, all kinds of moves are possible that are completely legal.

Oh please. Parties always meet to discuss contingency. Thew RNC did this, and the press made it all about Trump being cut out because of polls, or Trump deciding to bail out because his heart isn’t in the race.

Yep, I've been waiting for the Saint FDR comparisons. I could visualize them sending her to the debates in a wheelchair and then piling on Trump for being mean to a wheelchair patient. It's not a great ploy, but it's what they have.
It’s the only way she can be sure to stay out of jail - if it’s her just-us dept doing the prosecuting.
The electors matter, not the popular vote.
If she has a majority in the EC, the party could name her replacement up to Dec 19th if for whatever reason, she couldn’t serve as President.
And it would be perfectly legal. The party national committee just has to convey the replacement named to the electors before or by Dec 19.
That’s when the real election takes place around the country.

If I were Hillary, I’d be careful. She needs food testers and her own picks of the people around her. Obama will knock her off with an injection right before the election and declare the election invalid. Another step closer to Marshall Law.
