“So you like Trump because you disagree with him”

False-flag poster, eh? You don’t even get why people like Trump, any more than the media scum or our irretrievably corrupt and depraved political class do.

“and you haven’t given him a pass (or rationalized away) the fact that he was a big Hillary and other dem donor”

Aaaand you don’t understand what conservatives think about that, either.

“That’s right, that’s why the republicans selected as their nominee the original author of ObamaCare - Mitt Romney.”

Wow. I thought you could come a little closer than that to understanding what is said to you. Guess not. And the selection of Mittens, we now see, is another issue you don’t understand from a conservative standpoint.

“You have a very narrow, naive and shortsighted understanding of “self-interest”.

Road apples. I’ve been exploring the concept of enlightened self-interest for decades.

“The wise person sees”

You are in no way qualified to comment on what a wise person does.

“self interest in much broader and longer terms…”

Setting aside the puerile and intellectually mediocre quality of this paragraph, nothing in it refutes, or even relates to, the remark it pretends to address.

“You should…”

I should stop wasting time on another false-flag poster. Bye bye, lib.

OOH, I seem to have touched a sensitive spot.

Really, you should try to be more honest with yourself. You’ll feel better.

“OOH, I seem to have touched a sensitive spot.”

Dunning–Kruger effect: A cognitive bias wherein relatively unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their ability to be much higher than is accurate. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to accurately evaluate their own ability level.

Excellent! You’re making good progress - that is a good and honest description of you.

Just keep at it and you’ll be fine. A couple more posts and you’ll be there.
