Who started the rumor that Hillary Clinton is so smart??? Was it the same person who started a similar rumor about how intelligent Barack Obama is? Never ever before has so much been promised and so little delivered for both of them. Reminds me of the hype for the movie Ishtar. Remember how much hype there was for that movie and how bad it was?

I just turned 70, and often find myself searching for the name of things, as well as famous people’s name. Except Trump!!!

And yet she’s too dumb to recognize confidential markings in emails even after being on senate committees and being co-president with the rapist and being so highly trained and wonkish on all things beltway.
Anyone who believes Illary is smart and/or honest needs a psychiatric review.
Just like they really believed Obama was a great orator, great uniter, ...fill in the hyperbole. They believe what makes them feel good about themselves. If Hillary is astoundingly brilliant and is a Dem, why then Dems are brilliant and additionally brilliant for recognizing her brilliance when troglydyte republicans can’t even begin to grasp her appeal.
The Dems wanted to feel good about themselves (hello, Narcissism) and if they could only elect a black president, they believed it would “prove” that Repubs are racist and they are morally superior. But voting for an unqualified unvetted unknown would not accomplish this whereas voting for aa savior, being the one to recognize the savior and being “above” all others in voting for him, works for them. Dems decide on what would make them look best in their own eyes and their social circle, then they set about the fantasy of creating the false reality that would support it. Therefore, Hillary ‘has” to be brilliant.

So it’s worse than an electronic crib sheet: she had to deal with a voice in her ear, along with all the, uh, spirit voices in her head. The former first beard was chopping with her hands, gesturing and gesticulating like a lunatic trying to look forceful, but came off as ludicrous and angry.
If Trump had used an `aural teleprompter’—much like Obama’s inability to address a 3rd grade class w/o a teleprompter—it would have been the lead story on all the MSM alphabets, blogs, etc., for weeks to come.

It's a democrat tradition that their candidates and stars are the smartest. They are so smart, it's often a hindrance to being popular with the little people who just don't understand such brilliance. Adlai Stevenson is a great earlier example.
I agree, Hillary is not bright. She has gotten to where she is using other talents, mainly bullying and a complete lack of shame.

David Gergen’s criticism of Hillary’s performance in the Lauer forum is surprising if he is being sincere. But, Gergen, being a political prostitute, is probably contributing to Hillary’s strategy to lower expectations for the debates.
Low expectations for performance are preferable.
But she makes up for her intellectual shortcomings w/her aplomb, her bearing, her grace, her humor and her very presence; don’t she?????

Haha! I'm watching her "press conference" from yesterday and her raspy, haughty, tough guy voice is grating on my nerves. She thinks she is so smart saying the name of the head of ISIS, or naming government agencies.
She is using a lot of Bill's old tricks of saying, "I have a plan for that."
I hate the guy myself, but obviously for different reasons.
