Donald Trump, according to a new poll, is down just three points on Hillary Clinton in the traditionally-reliable Democratic state of Rhode Island, a state Barack Obama won by 27 points in 2012.
A poll released Wednesday from Bostons Emerson College shows Clinton at 44 percent, Trump at 41 percent, Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson at 8.4 percent and Green Party nominee Jill Stein at 3.5 percent.

The college polled the presidential race in six New England states and New Jersey. The results show Clinton ahead in all seven states, though the contests are tight in Rhode Island, New Jersey and New Hampshire.

They are both alike...
I recall when Trump was campaigning in RI during the primaries, his caravan was chased by fans. He eventually carried the state with over 60% the votes.
You should not post any more articles like this one ... cause it might accidentally trigger another coughing fit in the perfectly healthy woman ... and cause her to sway and reach for grab rails ... and make her chug more life-giving elixir ... and make her nice handler give her an emergency stick in the a$$ with the pen.
Last poll in CT he was down 7 and that was taken at the beginning of ...
I live in CT and I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it.. whatever “it” is that is going on. There are almost NO signs in any yards, anywhere! And when there is, it’s a Trump sign. And even down in the city where I work, you can hear the Trump love in the deli, at the grocery store, the dry cleaners... My guess is CT is close, and it’s possible that for the first time in years and years, my vote might actually count! We have so delegates so we are not a big deal, but still... there is something going on in CT that I have never seen or felt before, and it’s a love of Trump by many!
Wow.
FWIW, I think the northeast voter population is MUCH more “resistant” to PC bs.
“It seemed that Romney was drawing tons more people than Obama in 2012. I think the gimmeedats dont care about rallies...they just reliably come to the polls, whether they are real or not, and pull that D lever.”
unfortunately, i agree. also, you have to factor in vote fraud as Obama is trying to already indemnify the 2016 Hillary victory by suggesting that the head of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, is already ensuring that this doesn’t happen. if Trump were to miraculously win, then Johnson will automatically declare the outcome is uncertain because of the belief the Russians hacked into the vote count. i hope and pray that Trump has on hand hundreds of lawyers and IT specialists to double check voting machines expected of vote counting manipulation. the MSM of course will be trumpeting voter fraud should Trump win. dear Lord pleave save America from Hillary.
Meanwhile Bubba stands there pointing like a trained chimp.
I stated before, New Jersey is a stealth swing state
It is over for Clinton
Fake polls, 27/4 news media, wall street billions and she can still barely “beat” Trump in liberal New Jersey and Rhode Island?
Give me break
Clinton is done
Trump landslide, biggest since Ronald Reagan is on the way
This is a turning point election in American history. I believe the american people will reject the criminal Clinton. I think it has always been in the american character to step up when it’s early important. However, if I am wrong it bodes very poorly for the future of the country.
So Trump should make an extra jaunt into Providence, and he could talk about religious freedom, which RI once proclaimed.
New Jersey voted for Dewey in 1948, Nixon in 1968, and Ford in 1976. But people there now believe in “democracy” for everything.
Democrats don’t really like political rallies. Many can’t understand what is being said. But they are organized to be there when it counts.
America’s favorite portrait there
CT. may not have a lot of electoral votes, BUT it is a dramatic trend or “movement”. If Trump wins a deep blue state like yours it could be a landslide for Trump.
Those people are not motivated
I don’t think they would cross the street to vote for Clinton
Whereas Trump supporters would climb two mountains to vote for Trump
The few rallies that Romney had in the last 10 to 14 days before the election. Romney didn’t get large crowds until then. Trump gets them everywhere and sometimes twice a day for well over a year. Huge difference.
I’m not surprised. RI isn’t nearly as far left as its been said to be. It voted for a conservative governor twice both in 2002 and 2006. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Carcieri
Also the Democrats have really screwed the pooch lately with a flap over supporting tolls.
He can will her to “O” by pointing his finger.
My sister and I live in Maine’s Second Congressional District and we will be voting for Trump.
