I’m not much of a conspiracy buff because I think people love to blab too much to keep much of anything secret, but there’s been collaborative groups of rich and powerful people since forever and I suspect they still exert a great deal of influence even if you set aside all the conspiracy crap.

My gut was seeming to lean towards this guy being a muslim with “Protocols of the Learned Elders....” tendencies.

That part was definitely unfortunate.
This conspiracy pieces often contain a somewhat unstated “Jewish Banker” aspect which I find distasteful. Instead of blaming Israel, I prefer to think that the old European noble families are still trying to run things from behind the scenes. Hohenzollerns and whatnot. Definitely not Jewish. Just old, rich landowners who want to have serfs.
And I think crazy Muslims who blow up the World Trade Center can be used as useful tools by New World Order types.
